Just because a very small fraction of the community doesnt like a car doesnt mean it should be removed. Once a car is in a car game, it should carry onto the sequals.

I would agree with this except for time and resources, however it doesn't seem to me that many people arguing against the car are doing so for those reasons.

If PD had unlimited resources, I'd be find with all but the most pointless of duplicates (Mazada Touring Car). There's no reason to keep a car out of the game unless it hurts some other feature.

the veyron should become premium, but its not gonna change the fact that its barely gonna be used like in gt5

I don't see why there is hate for this car. I understand being angry in lobbies when multiple 10 year olds use them as battering rams, but hate the player not the car.

It's a significant car, even though it is god awfully ugly (IMO).

It definitely deserves a "premium" model though.

It handles like a cargo ship, looks ugly, weighs about the same as an SUV, but I wouldn't mind it coming back.

Probably the worst thread on these GT6 forums, but surprisingly, it has generated 5 pages. Haha!

Should the Countach have a place in GT6? Herp.

As a car fan, I admire and am awed over the Bugatti Veyron. I don't think it's the best thing since sliced bread, but it definitely has its place in a Gran Turismo game. Gran Turismo has always been about a celebration of the automobile with many different cars of many different walks of life. We can protest and praise certain cars to our hearts content, but we do realize such cars are featured in such games for a reason. To say the Bugatti Veyron doesn't deserve to be in GT6 would be like saying Richard Petty shouldn't deserve to be in the NASCAR Hall of Fame. So my vote is yes. I am not any fanatic of the Veyron, but I vastly respect its presence in the GT series. Don't tell me a modern marvel like this car shouldn't be included, because I know there will be lots of people ready to mouth off like brats in YouTube comments if the Veyron isn't featured in GT6- even including if it isn't featured in Premium quality.

So my vote is yes for the Veyron. My vote is yes as both a car fan and as a gamer.

I never drove it, but I will if it's in GT6. GT6 meaning that it will most definitely have the interior modeled.

side note
The Spyker needs its interior modeled the most. It's too purrty not to be in the next GT.

PD could do it easily. They did it in GT5.

Yeah!
GTP: There has been much discussion and debate in GTPlanet’s community regarding GT5’s Standard and Premium cars. Could you explain how you came to the decision of which cars would be Premium and which would remain Standard, such as the Bugatti Veyron?

KY: It wasn’t a matter of making a decision, we just didn’t have time to do it! There is still a possibility that some Standard cars may become Premium in the future.

People who think like the guy at the bottom of that thread, FALSE. Statistically (another member figured it out), GT has become less and less of a Japanese car game with the first GT (took five long years as well to make) having 99% Japanese cars.

Yes it should, but it should also be accompanied by these:

The Bugatti 35, one of the most successful racing cars in history, that competed for two decades, and the 57SC Atlantic, one of the most beautiful and sought-after luxury cars in the world. Also one of the fastest road cars in its day. Those two, along with the Veyron and EB110, would be stunning additions to GT6. 👍

In mo honest opinion, the Bugatti Veyron is a worthless car. It is a giant cockroach that can't turn, and is only the FOURTH fastest car in the world. In fact, production stopped back in 2009, so there is no reason to keep it in GT.
The Supersport and Grandsport are a different matter entirely.

Hmm... none of the other production cars in the game can achieve a higher top speed. Perhaps we should get rid of them as well, right?

What I'm saying is the only real appeal of the Veyron is its speed. But, there are cars that do speed better than the Veyron.

Yes it can. Is it as good as some light and agile supercars? No, but it can still turn.

and is only the FOURTH fastest car in the world.

Problem being? Does that mean only the three cars faster should be in GT6?

Right, because we all know that once a car is out of production it's got no place in a videogame anymore.

Yeah, but your three cars that are faster than the Veyron aren't in the game. What's the point?

Oh, there aren't any Dodge NASCARs in GT5, better get rid of the rest of them.
