In my ongoing effort to turn the bedroom I rent into more of an apartment, I just bought a little Magic Chef retro microwave in mint green that perfectly matches my Insignia mini-fridge in mint green.

I also bought a couple yuri manga titles from Kinokuniya in Seattle. I've been shopping there for manga and j-pop CDs for 25 years now. One is "I Love You So Much I Hate You" about a couple of women who work at a big corporation (one of whom is married and the boss of the other) and their secret love affair. The other is "I Married My Best Friend to Shut My Parents Up" about a young woman who pretends to be gay by marrying her best friend who actually is gay, just so her parents (who care about their own status more than her happiness) will stop pressuring her about getting married and giving them grandchildren.

Is that an Epiphone guitar amp center right?

Finally picked a game I've been wanting for a long while. Diddy Kong Racing for the N64. Used to rent this a lot back in the day. Super happy with it because unlike other 64 games I've purchased online. This one didn't need any convincing to get working. Started right up.

I just went out and bought 2 games during black friday and beef up my PS4 library some more. Crash Bandicoot 4 and the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 & 2. They were games I wanted, but wasn't in a hurry to get.

Note: I initially was planning on going to buy these at Best Buy, but there was a line to just get into the store. So, I bit the bullet and went inside Gamestop.

After a few weeks of disappointment and lack of motivation, I've finally started putting in orders for the wiring repairs in my car that I'll be taking on.
Upon researching, I learned that these are self soldering splice connectors - they make splicing wires a lot more easier :)

Ordered a bag of 50

Also a replacement for the dash cluster. I'll be vinyl wrapping it or powder coating it.

Lastly, aluminum thumbsticks for my aging Xbox One controller.

I have this thing with using durable and recyclable materials. I wonder if they'll hurt my thumbs :P - they'll outlast the controller, that I'm happy with.

More comics. Keeping up with the Betty and Veronica reprints. I also picked up several Wonder Woman reprints ranging from the 1950s to 1990s that I didn't already own. In fact the only new comic I picked up was Sabrina the Teenage Witch: Something Wicked #4 (of 5). It's written by Kelly Thompson, easily one of my favorite comic book writers. I also got some RiffTrax.

Did you still at least attempt to blow it out before trying it? I wouldn't be able to help myself and assume that's the reason it fired right up.

👍

A couple I've bought have been right pains in the rear, if only it was as easy as blowing on them. The joys of retro gaming.

All to tide me over until Cyberpunk next week.

Because I need that sweet PS5 ray tracing (next year) and I haven't built a new PC yet. More of an upgrade in this case as I already owned the base game.

550

WAY overdue on this one.

Seen a fair number of people play this and it looks too fun to pass up for $4.99. Also helps that it reminds me of Limbo, Max: Curse of Brotherhood, etc..

...I'm well aware of the review copies out in the wild and everything else, but if Cyberpunk is delayed again, I swear I will fling a half-cooked pork chop at someone's head.

A couple of digital albums. I love The Radio Dept. Reminds me of roaming around a brand new city in my first years of college listening to their other album.. Just magical.

I've been listening to Foreign Beggars for 10 years - they were my intro to dubstep and my first time hearing UK rap/grime. I've been hooked since. RIP Metropolis.

Been without a watch for awhile now. Wanted something that looked halfway decent but wasn't overly expensive. Ended up going with this Casio G-Shock from Amazon UK. Hoping that it arrives before Christmas.

Can't go wrong with a G-Shock, or a Casio in general. I'll suggest one thing; make sure you get cloth or leather straps, as the plastic ones will get brittle and break.

I had a really standard Casio classic (analogue), you know, the most basic of watches. I never had any issues with the plastic straps and I had it for many years through some of the most extreme environments. When the strap did finally let go, it was the metal pin holding it to the watch and not the strap itself.

It might differ from watch to watch based on thickness of the strap. I'm not sure. I took mine through rough environments as well, but both straps gave up after a year or so.

Told myself since this damn game was announced eleventy years ago that I wouldn't pre-order until it was in my hands. Those of us familiar with CDPR know how they are...

Less than five days. It can't be delayed further this late in, right? RIGHT? :boggled:
