Wished it was real. Perhaps I shall water it.

This is "Vampire Blood Drive" by Mira Ong Chua. It's from a Kickstarter I backed last year. Bunny is a high school girl who moves to a new small town only to discover that it's infested with vampires. Except they're all very nice vampires and everyone gets along and the school even holds a blood drive for the vampires. Velvet is vampire with an allergy to all blood except the rare type AB. Fortunately for her, Bunny is type AB. It's a funny, sweet, sexy yuri romance. The book and all the rewards arrived today.

I couldn't hold off until graduation, and they released a small number of special editions, so I took the plunge. View attachment 1117048

I'm unsure which I will like, so I ordered both. Push comes to shove; I can return whichever I don't like. So far, I'm liking the top one most.
Make sure to post those to the watch thread if you haven't already.

I just bought my first new game console in eight years. My OG XBox One is on its last legs, so I bought a Series S.

I didn't know there is one. I'll do so when they get here.

After sharing some film photography work with a professor and speaking to friend, that encouraged me to take the plunge on an FM3A and a 35mm f1.4. Hopefully this will encourage me to get back into this. I haven't taken a photo since 2020.

It's amazing how much prices have gone up on vintage cameras over the past 10 years.

I've been using my dad's old Nikon F2 Photomic for that timespan, so I think it's time to move onto something of my own, and to me, much better functional quality.

Might be used in a project I want to do at a race track.

So I went bass amp shopping on Sweetwater and ordered a "demo" Orange Bass Crush 50 1x12 that was $60 cheaper than normal....

....and then I also decided to get a new Bass cause why not. :embarrassed:

Definetly was not influenced by Mio Akiyama and didn't order a matching pickguard

Spend £550 on diesel and get a FREE* sausage roll!

*that went out of date half an hour previously

(I mean, I'm not ungrateful and I'll happily eat it for lunch later today, and it's not like I'm paying for the diesel, I just found it funny.)

In today's impulse Amazon Music purchase.

For giggles, the song I purchased between this and my last proper purchase post which has attained "don't care, volume's getting cranked up if it comes on" status while I drive:

Tactile Turn's new seasonal release called the GT. It's a side-click titanium body covered in Cerakote to match the Gulf liveries and thankfully uses a G2 refill so it's easy to get some better ink for it.
