How does the NOS taste? I was always curious about it. Though I hope it doesn't have to do anything with the FnF series...

I opted to get the PC instead of the PS3 version.

Nice choice on the PC version. Your computer should run that great.

It is. Very happy with it's performance on this game. Everything is cranked, 1920x1200, all options set as high as it will go. Without getting into a "Review of Farcry2" thread, I like it. There have been some cool surprises and look forward to more.

I bought some new Enthusiast Apparel shirts. That makes 5 for me. The two I already have are their "premium" material shirts, and a few months after I got them they're still as soft--and the black one just as black--as new.

I myself have not found anything I disliked about my 32GB iPod touch...

It had neat features but sacrificed practicality. I often use it while taking the bus or driving. Switching songs or adjusting volume (first gen) is a pain in the butt without taking it out of your pocket since there are no real buttons. I know i can simply take it out of my pocket, but that is something i never had to do with my previous ipods and it was annoying. Unlocking it and switching songs while driving is also annoying, if not downright dangerous.

Aside from that, the biggest reason why i returned it was because it was simply too loud. Even at the lowest volume, my shures (low impedance phones) played at "avg volume". I never listened to my music at loud levels anyways so the touch basicly offered me a fixed volume level where adjustments are not possible/needed. Avg volume is ok, but there are those times when im studying or napping and i just want quiet music playing. I know a volume attenuator or an impedance adapter would have done the job but thats not the point.

Plus, the nano is SO much lighter and has double the capacity for a similar price. The nano is not perfect but much more practical than the "fancier" touch

Moved from pay and go onto a contract with mobile broadband, and that came free. Was paying £10 for a gig a month, now paying half that.

My latest purchase. After this, I promised myself that i wont make any purchases for a long long time. :scared:

So hopefully, i wont be posting any more stuff in this thread in the near future

Well, since we're showing off camera gear...

This is the top of a Gitzo 2541 monopod with a Manfrotto 323 quick release head.

Don't really need the EF135, but after seeing the images in this thread on Photography-on-the.net, I had to have it.

I loaded it up, played it for 7 minutes and then my PS3 stopped reading discs. It's going in for repair which could take up to 14 days.

Not impressed, Sony! It's only 5 months old and barely used! :grumpy: Looks like it's back to the 360 for me after yet another disappointing PS3 experience.

I'm actually enjoying it quite a bit and you can actually modify cars in a very clean looking manner. Especially my '83 Golf and Challenger :D

How does it play racing wise? I'm considering buying it because it's a fair bit cheaper than most games on sale at the minute.

I haven't Had a chance to pop it in and see how it looks yet. I've been too busy playing teh Resistance 2 beta.

I also need to figure out how to get the digital copy on to my PSP or PS3. It has instructions specifically for iPods, which use similar formats to the PSP, so it can't be too hard.

I'm also excited to check out BD-Live. This is the first movie I have that uses it for something more than just extra features. It has a mode where you can chat with a friend online while you watch the movie together. I'm unsure if that will be cool (like watching it together) or annoying. It may depend on the person. I think it would definitely be a fun way to Riff on a movie though.
