 $30 is a great buy! It's tempting to replace my other standard 6-axis controllers.

Now imagine if the one and only controller you have is a 6-axis...

Buying this is almost a requirement.

Bad news. My local Radio Shack was sold out of DS3's. :(

Walmart, Best Buy and Target won't price match it, either.

That sucks. I've been seeing that deal but I'm was skeptical of how many people could do it or if they actually had any. The one near me sucks.

Man am I mad. I was going to get a TV with a sweet deal on amazon. Went to BB and CC to look at it in person. They didn't have it. I come back home to get it anyway, and amazon is now out of stock.

SO ANGRY.

Welcome to Black Friday and Blue Sunday.

Tell me about it. I'm fine with the shortage, as long as they get them back in stock for the same price. Crossing my fingers.

Just ordered:

Alright, so after chilling out with an Ironbeer, I tried an AVSForum sponsor called Cleveland Plasma, and, lo and behold, they have the same TV for the same price. I went to Sears and saw the right model, but only in a 58". Too huge. But, I'm happy with the picture quality (especially with the crazy discount), and so I got the 46" set from the folks there in Cleveland. I wanted a 40, but the 46 was even cheaper. Go figure!

Now it's time to get a job for the winter so I can pay for my impetuous consumerism.

It could be worse. Some guy on the news was waiting at a Best Buy since early Thursday for a TV, but they had the same deal on their website. It was still in stock late Friday.

Today's purchases:
CSI: Miami Seasons 2 & 3

I could have also gotten CSI:Miami Seasons 1 & 4, as well as seasons 1 & 2 of the Venture Bros., but Best Buy made up some BS that they couldn't price match Circuit City because it was a 2-day sale. I should have let the machine price match The Venture Bros., and then try CSI:M. And worse yet, Miami Vice Seasons 3-5 still have yet to come down. :(

And my last purchase of the night besides their Wings, was a Hooters Shot Glass for my collection. The interwebz apparently does not have my shot glass, so I'll grab a picture soon.:)

Brand? Price?

$1300, 46" Panasonic PZ800U. That's pretty much half off.

Best Buy is so expensive. They charge MSRP on the floor.

I was going to splurge this Black Friday...but maybe next year. Some of these deals are almost worth waiting a year for, ya know? Saving up money is a must because then you can just click buy, buy, buy without a second thought. You have to act quick to get the good deals, there's no time to go to the store and analyze. Check everything out beforehand and know exactly what you want.

Do figure. The two sizes probably have the same resolution, which means the 46 has larger pixels. They probably aren't as difficult to make. Or it could be as simple as the 46 being more popular, which it probably is during these sales.

Yeah. I rented it when it came out, was ok. Saw it again on TV not too long ago, and since it was only $6, I went ahead and bought it anyways.

I also neglected to mention in my earlier post that I had also bought Monty Python & The Holy Grail for $6. :D

Yes, the last one is correct. October was the worst month for retail sales in a long long time. Especially for TVs. That means stores had these things stockpiled coming into Black Friday. Now, Panasonic recently discontinued my TV and the 42" version of it. That means that they have to move them out immediately to make room for new product. That's why the price was so low, regardless of black friday.
