Just got the iPhone 3G!!

3g-iphone.jpg

Congrats! Welcome to the club. You posted an original iPhone by the way. Note the silver backing. ;)

What version is yours? Black 8GB, Black 16GB, White?

I messed around with an iPhone in an Apple store once. It had some cool features, but the service cost is ridiculous. I can't understand how so many people are willing to pay so much for a phone.

It has a lowercase i in it. As soon as you put the lowercase i in front of something people will buy it. No matter what it cost.

Edit: jesterguy, those belts will scream Christmas when you put them in. =P

Oh hell yeah. I had to replace my old Braun because it broke; this one is significantly better. Perfect for shakes and the like and so much less cleanup than a stand-up blender. Plus it's cool to scare the dog.

Black 8 GB. Lovin it!! Filled it up almost to it's capacity full of songs!

I'll get a pic up soon.

these will compliment my JDM red Recaro's nicely, yes?

Well, to go with the new mobo, processor, and 64-bit vista os, more ram seemed like the next logical step. To aid in this endevour, OCZ seemed like the logical choice. To go with my 2 gb's of OCZ Reaper ram, I added another 4gb's or ReaperX ram for a total system memory of 6gb's, all of which will be used by Vista's64-bit architecture.

Here's some specs:

1000MHz DDR2
5-5-5-18
(CAS-TRCD-TRP-TRAS)
Available in 4GB (2x2048MB) Dual Channel Kits
Unbuffered
OCZ Lifetime Warranty
2.1 Volts
240 Pin DIMM

OCZ DDR2 PC2-8000 / 1000 MHz / ReaperX HPC / 4GB Dual Channel

The latest OCZ PC2-8000 ReaperX 4GB memory kits feature the ideal blend of speed, latency, bandwidth, and up to 4GB capacities to help DirectX-10 PC games reach their full potential on the latest DDR2 platforms.

DDR2-1000 ReaperX 4GB kits are designed to help deliver exceptional gaming visuals and overclocking potential, with breakneck speeds and tight latencies coupled with advanced cooling technology to ensure your high-powered gaming PC maintains unsurpassed stability.

The ReaperX series provides enthusiasts leading-edge cooling technology, with each memory chip in direct contact with a thermo-conductive pipe that guides heat away and quickly dissipates it through the aluminum fin array.

Reaper X modules are tested on and optimized for the latest cutting edge motherboards and will be available in 4GB (2x2048MB) dual channel kits. Like all OCZ premium memory, the Reaper X series is backed by a Lifetime Warranty and industry-leading technical support for unparalleled peace of mind.

Oddly enough, Crysis is running really well on this machine now. At 1600x1080 I can run it with everything set to "Very High" in DX10 and it looks fantastic with very playable framerates (haven't checked but guessing in the low to mid 40's). At my max resolution of 1920x1200 I have to dummy down the effects to "High" to get comparable framerates (guessing to be in the mid thirties). For those with Crysis Launch errors, try changing your Vista theme to "Classic" and remove all the extra visual effects in Vista to see if it makes a difference. It made all the difference in the world for me. In the near future, I will probably replace the 2gb kit with another 4gb ReaperX kit for 8gb's. DDR2 Ram is cheap these days. Amazon has it on sale right now for $78.98 for the 2x2gb Kit. đź‘Ť

Planning some late night raids TB? :scared:
A ton of black, I know. The problem is you can't bank on L.L. Bean's red bibs matching Columbia's red jacket, so you go with black. Same with the gloves and hat for my wife, so again, black it is. As for my hat, I wouldn't have minded getting Deep Red or Carbon to match my jacket, but that's not an option.

Short version, yes, raids aplenty!

Plus, the remnant of pre-internet population is still alive.

Don't ask to borrow my phone book after Hurricane Axel has an appetite for destroying Broward County.

Fender Stratocaster, Mexican.

Unfortunately, the sunburst was sold out to my dissapointment, so I'm going white-black. Looking forward to recieving it on Friday or maybe even late on Thursday đź‘Ť

Bought these two games on Saturday for a total of $80. Works for me; I've been playing them almost nonstop lately. :dopey:
