Finally buckled down:

There's no such thing as being too safe though

Altough I do agree in that I've never heard of a fire-alarm junkie before either.

By the way, Sharky, the BG-12 pullstation has a space inside big enough for a 1st generation iPod nano. So, basically, it serves 2 very important purposes!!

Yeah, I’m a couple of centuries late to the party.

I never realized that they don't call that Grand Theft Auto III: The Trilogy. That box is a little more suggestive of having GTAI, GTAII, and GTAIII. However, its also odd to call it "The Trilogy" as if there are only three games.

Anyway...Congrats on the purchase. You'll either love them a lot, or it won't be for you. San Andreas is still the high point of the series to me, regardless of how pretty and detailed GTAIV became. Too many of SA's features were cut.

nice buy , do you buy lego too build them? or do you do like me . buy them for the pieces lol

Buy 'em to build 'em. Only if I'm not fussed with the result will I take it apart to build something else.

Presumably it's a PS2 trilogy, so nothing from prior to that. No Stories games either.

I once had the old Double pack before my Playstation did rude things to my Vice City disc. I bought Vice City again, but I never bothered repurchasing GTA III, though (my brother bought it on the computer soon after).

Vice City for PC is clearly the best.

How much was Enthusia? I might go pick up a copy (even though I hated it when I rented it) if it's super cheap.

I just got a iPod Touch(and I'm posting from it right now) and it's actually really nice. The only problem I have is that the keyboard is annoying.

Odd, I find it vastly better than most keyboards on mobile devices. The corrective system on it and all that is generally spot on.

My flash arrived. :D

It's pretty amazing how big a difference one makes. Bouncing flash is the best. Now I can actually use light. I got it with Canon's holiday/new year's instant rebate too. I spent the rest of my gift money and owe my mom some now, but I think it's worth it.

Here's a quick snapshot of my dog with flash bounced off the ceiling:

He needs a bath. :)

Great flash, I don't leave home without mine ;)

You bought splinter??? awesome!!!

Just bought a Freitag. I think you've got to know about these to appreciate them. The explanations seem to get a "yeah, so?" reply from most people. Basically, it's made of used freight truck tarps, used car seatbelts and old bike innertubes. Recycling at its highest style.

After a co-worker spent most the shift reminding me how great it was, and then reeling me in with it only being £4.50 delivered from HMV, it had to be done.

Aside from that it looks like a plastic kids bag. So not really high style...

Now, if they had some not vinyl looking messenger bag, I'd probably take interest.

Mine is already on its fourth year of school.:sly:

The only real physical problem is the right strap. That has started to tear apart from a year ago as I was caring more than 10 pounds in it at a time from about two years ago. The thing seems so solid that I think its gonna make the college years.👍

They started off making messenger bags and still have a big variety of them. They're made from industrial rubber tarp, so they all look vinyl. And the messenger ones run a pretty penny, so you'd be probably turned off on that too.

As far as style, it is definitely a very European thing (although, it sits as the only bag of any kind to sit at MoMA).

I bought it because of the design theory behind the material used. It was a logo or graphic designed for a 350 square foot surface refitted onto 2 square feet. It also speaks loads on branding, how the face of a corporation is appropriated into something completely different, yet in the end still the exact same - a material transporting a couple thousand pounds of goods on the highways, to the actual exact piece of hardware transporting the same goods but in my pack on the city streets. The same could be said for the seatbelts and bike tubes. The thing is hand-assembled to the specs of the material, so these things just don't fall apart (especially the zippers, these things are earthquake-proof).
