Is it me or do most Australian homes look really cut off? They always seem to have this massive garage at the front, with a bit on the side for the entrance. Is it not normal to have big windows at the front of the house like in the UK?

I think they might just be trying to leave the garage door open to show off their Holdens

My bike upgrade is nearly complete, now all I need is a rubbish cable disc because my dad won't let me run a rear brake only. Although front brakes are useless for DJ bikes.

Just because I had to outdo Brad :sly:

Vendor accepted my offer today and solicitors are doing their thing...yikes...now I'm in serious debt!

I'm guessing technically that's a purchase by your bank! :sly: Besides it's not red!

Pretty awesome though Colby, nice double garage for the GTi!

If you are a hipster fixxy idiot.

Front brakes are always handy when you actually need to stop, since that is what does most of the stopping on anything with wheels.

Your not Australian if you cant show of a big garage with your precious Holden or Ford in it. But no, the windows are usually small but ours are big, the garage in all of our houses has been out the front except this one:sly:. Ours is now hidden in a back lane out the back of our house on a special street with lots of other garages so they can chat about what cars are in them and such:)👍.

You mean an alley?

No it is more of a one lane street with the back of houses facing it, the garages.

That's called an alley way here in the US. What I posted is a 1 lane "street" with the driveways & garages letting out to it. Trust me, I have to back out into one every day & night.

It's been going pretty well so far, I'm still getting used to have 180hp rather than 80, though 180hp still isn't much to some of you guys, compared to what I'm used to it's a Jet. I can actually overtake people now! I'm going to write up a thread once I get it all cleaned in and out and can take some decent pictures!

Though I had one problem yesterday, while I was sitting in the 48C-49C (120F) weather in peak hour traffic, the "Check Engine" light came on, I think it just had a fit in the heat, it's off today, but I'm still going to get it checked out, it's under warranty so it's not going to be an issue even if it is something wrong. The temperature gauge wasn't reading high though.

The manual is great though, reading what the "Check Engine" light means "The Check Engine Light indicates a malfunction may exist in the engine"...thanks.

That often happens when the Catalytic converter gets hot and out of it's efficiency range (quick flicks of the CEL but has nothing to do with engine temp) which isn't anything to worry about unless parking in tall grass.

But get it checked anyway wont hurt.

Completely brakeless is stupid although a few people around mine do run with no brakes. Front brakes are indeed the most useful for stopping power Azuremen but as its a Dirt Jump bike you never really encounter sudden braking situations. I was planning on getting a front brake anyway after a while as I do street aswell, alot more useful on street.

Got two glasses and two liters of pilsen from a local chopp factory a mile away from my house. Very welcomed in this hot weather.

I don't think those are the right glasses to drink pilsen but they're the ones I liked the most.

Pretty productive morning for once, I think.

Something I've been waiting over 10 years to own :)... and finally I've bought one. It's a CRG Kalifornia kart, with a 125cc Leopard engine. Got it 2nd hand, at only 3 months old. I'm now about to join a karting club in WA (Clubman class), so I can finally make my start in motorsport. 👍👍 Can't wait for it to arrive!

That is an awesome freaking purchase! I keep telling myself I'm going to save up for a shifter cart, but I always seem to spend the money prepping my DSM for road racing instead. :guilty:

Well I've finally bought the DC's I've been wanting. Well kind of, they aren't the exact ones I wanted but they are pretty close. I think they look pretty sweet and I just had to take some snaps. Primarily for the reason of I don't know what model they are, there not in the DC 2009 Catalogue of stuff so I haven't a clue. Anyway they were well worth the £27 price tag and I find them really comfortable, especially compared to my old shoes.

EDIT: And before anyone asks, there are two of them....Not one like in the picture....

Cleans my car & fixes CD scratches even tho its not ment for it 👍

That will cut down your paint but won't 'clean' it. To clean the car properly you'll need to wash it by hand, then use a quick detailer with a clay bar to remove contaminants. Polishing without removing contaminants will cause your paint to get scratched.

Then you can use a decent cutting polish by hand (Autoglym Super Resin Polish is best by hand) or various polishes (light cut would do the trick) by machine (using a light cut polishing pad at a low speed) and they will cut back the paint slightly to remove light 'swirls' caused by washing and even remove scratches.

All cleaning should be done by hand before polishing, then a wax/sealant/glaze should be applied to finish the car and protect the paint from UV damage and water damage. 👍

Just got a HDTV for my bedroom today. 32in MATSUI 1080p (supports 720 and 5xx) for £299 from Currys - also got a HDMI cord to plug the PS3 into it. The picture quality is amazing, especially for the price. Even standard DVDs look 100x better played through the PS3 on the HDTV...

Havn't tested GT5p yet, as I've been watching DVDs... Skate looks really nice on it though.

Next thing to get is a new stereo system as I chucked my old one today - it was from 1994 and the laser only just gave up in the CD player... I've just got to make sure I can get one that plays cassette tapes (have loads of old tapes my Grandfather gave me years ago that I still listen to - my music of choice is quite dated... LOL)

Also, I need to get a PS3 headset and a USB splitter thing - 2 ports are not enough... I have a 500gb harddrive in one, PlayTV in the other - have to unplug one to charge the pad or if I decide to transfer something from another memory stick (I have a 16gb, two 4gb's, three 1gb's and about five small memory ones)...

Do the USB splitter things actually work for the PS3? I too have been thinking of buying one for PC/PS3. I would buy one if they do work.

I don't have a picture of the paint i bought but I can certainly entertain you fellas with pictures of the outcome:)
