In fact, beer in a 12oz bottle with less than 9% alcohol and with a bottle cap?! :ouch:

Which is why I bought this yesterday to go along with a beautiful Pacific sunset...

Holiday? Looks beautiful out there 👍

Watching that image makes me miss the summer. Those days where the sun burns all day long, you've been outside the whole day and you're tired. Later that day when the sun is going down and the sky is turning gold, this is the perfect thing to drink at that moment:

Now, I rarely even touch a drop of alcohol, but a Belgian cherry-flavored Kriek Bellevue FTW!

Not FTW, Alex.

Scaff, what would you say the "smaller"/earlier Chili's albums are like?

In my opinion much funkier and much better than the later albums, for me they lost the way a little after Blood, sugar.

Torrented full discography of 400 songs FTW :D
Alex - I shouldn't need to bring up the AUP in regard to this - you should know better that that.

Regards

Scaff

I'll have to look into getting those then, as their funky stuff is as good as their more modern rock tracks. The older albums are often listed as cheaper, too.

Mother's Milk and Uplift Mofo Party Plan are on order. £9.98 for both of them,

Dont worry, I'll have all of them in CD form soon enough 👍

We have a few dotted about and I bought the empyrean and stadium arcadium personally. I do realise empyrean isnt rhcp directly but its a bloody good album, very different but very deep and very listenable.
Also, there are some songs that you just wont get on CD. The zephyr singles are hard to find, as are the 80's live albums etc. Overall there are around 50 discs ever released by the peppers. I do prefer the more melodic songs of late where Frusciante is on top form, both vocally and instrumentally, such as Desecration Smile, Snow and Californication. I have huge respect for Slovak and 'Fight Like A Brave' is a brilliant song, as are many others of the 80's era. My personal favorites are: Under The Bridge, On Mercury, Brothers cup, Save the population etc. Maybe we should take this to the Rhcp thread which is buries somewhere in the music section. My confession is I don't much like 'Give It Away'

And also, sorry guys about the 'FTW'.

...Well, mine is actually purple (I hearts purple!) and gray...

Still, working for GAP Inc rocks.

*struggles to breathe with the price of CPU*

You just can't hold back, can you?

But I did hold back. I almost got a couple GTX295's to run quad SLI but decided to run my 280's for another year or so. I might pickup another 280 for Tri-Sli, but it's doubtful as this will run anything on the market today extremely well. So yeah, I did hold back. :)

I could buy a car with that money!

I already have a car. 👍

Wow, that's impressive stuff there, Pako. If you add a single 295, you'd have my 'dream machine.' If I was any better with a PC, I'd probably get the same rig.

I understand why you don't want a 295, though. However, I love the idea of HDMI output so I can attach it to my receiver, so the 295 is more my style. However, I'd probably go direct to my HDTV set and use a HDMI sound card for the audio to my receiver.

I hope to read a write-up of your assembly adventures soon.

I bought this because my uncle had an original one in pieces (with a bunch of other models, so I couldn't find all the parts) and I built it up. Course that was one of my first models so it was pretty bad. Then I found they re-issued it, so I decided to build it again, with all the parts (and some custom work), and I could set them side by side on my shelf to show just how far I've come in model skills.

Just so you know, the 280's have a spidf connector on them to pass audio out the HDMI adapter. :). Will definitely review the whole setup when it's done.

As do GTX 260s and some of the 9800s. 👍 They use a DVI>HDMI adapter, not a dedicated HDMI port.

Woah, looks like that rig will play any game on earth on ultra settings with ease then...

So about the rig: Is it a pure gaming rig, or do you use it also for heavy video editing or similar things?

Forgot, also have one of these coming to help cool the NB and SB chips.

I'll be using this mainly for gaming/bencing, but I will be doing some heavy video encoding and audio batch processing once everything is good and stable.

Heathers 4th 360 just died yesterday. I gave up on Microsoft repairing that one over and over again so I went out and bought a brand new 60gb Pro. This one is a Jasper which will hopefully last for at least a year.
