This is the Wii's last chance to sell me on motion controls.

Oh, and we needed something secure for important documents.

People who want to use it legally?
Correct, I'm using it for commercial purposes, which is something I want to keep completely legal. And getting the 'not-latest' version is relatively cheap for what you get (Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Flash, Acrobat Pro and Photoshop Extended).

I paid around 1/6th of what the same CS4 package would cost, for a fully legal retail version of CS3.3. Adobe can keep their new features as far as I'm concerned. ;)

Those with a conscience?
Nah, it's more like 'those who are cautious about illegal things slipping into their business'. ;)

Those who don't like identity theft.
Especially not theft of my commercial identity/bank/cc data.

LG Dare (LGVX9700) Touchscreen Mobile Phone
$50 through "New every 2" type program from Wal-Mart.

I'm liking it thus far, my old LGVX8350's battery was crapping out, with a charge only lasting a half-day or so, and so my parents decided I needed to buy a new phone before my church trip this weekend.

Gotta get an 8GB MicroSD card for it though, then it'll probably be my main music device. (Music sounds pretty good using my Sony earbuds.)

Chris.

Since the latest version is CS4, you can get the complete CS3 suite for a very, very nice price. 👍

theres a pretty penny to be had buying old versions of photoshop, purchasing the upgrade, then selling that on ;) a mate of a mate was in the top tax bracket from it :scared:

anyway, my latest buys, to replace the lousy 6x9s in the firebirds nasty 10ohm system.

All the Drunken Wenches were sold out so we got the Scurvy Dog instead. :P

Love the pirate pool, just in time for Summer! 👍

Yesterday was my birthday and I got prezzies!!!

Happy B'day... and nice swag!

As for recent purchases, while visiting the in-laws over the weekend I continued my makeover of their family room:

Before:

100_0180.jpg

- old ugly entertainment cabinet
+ 2 gallons of Behr's Desert Sand Premium+ Interior Paint from Lowe's
+ 3 BESTA Storage Cabinets from IKEA w/round brushed metal legs
+ Simplicity SLF1 Full-Motion Swing Arm Wall Mount (exact same model I bought for my folks)
+ Panasonic TH-50PZ80U 50" 1080p VIERA Plasma (from before)
+ Panasonic SC-PT956 Wireless Multi-Room Surround Home Theater System (from before)
+ Pandigital PAN1202W02 12" Digital Photo Frame (from before)
+ Cisco RNG200 HD DVR (from before)

After:

They needed the swing arm mount as they wanted to be able to change the orientation of the TV... which also meant the speakers needed to also be easily moved, so I simply attached them to the TV using some heavy duty Velcro. To keep the look clean I ran all the wires through the swing arm and the wall:

Took a while, but earned lots of brownie points with the in-laws. 👍

Over the past week:

I wonder if AutoZone will take it back after a bit's been used and proved worthless...

Finally found it, in Sioux Falls, SD! Their FYE is a gold mine. I almost got Dino Crisis 3 too, but I think I can find it somewhat locally.

Plus some Rain X wiper blades and a Yobo Gameware Xbox controller. I couldn't find a first-party pad, but was told this was a decent alternative.

Thanks. I'll follow up by saying that I just finished watching every episode and feature to be found on the first disc of Star Trek: TOS Season 1, and it is epic. Any fan of Star Trek owes it to themselves to get this. You get remastered and original footage for every episode, switchable as you watch, and a 7.1 DTS HD MA or the original 2.0 Mono audio track. The pop-up commentary/featurette on the remastering for Where No Man Has Gone Before is also top notch because they don't shy away from talking about the passionate fighting that happened when certain adjustments were discussed (like the James R Kirk tombstone in Where No Man Has Gone Before).

Her request, yes.

Isn't stopping me from consuming it, though.

Smirnoff Ice was by bridge from mixed drinks to beer. Now I think it is way too sweet, but that just means that it can be a dessert for my beer.

Latest purchase off iTunes, remastered tracks sound great, especially parts like the Piano and guitar in some songs.

Chris.

New indicator lenses for my Datsun 210.

Couple games to keep me occupied during the odd days that I'm actually at home during summer. After getting the PS2 Final Fantasies I realize that there's no more games that I really want for PS2. Looks like it's finally time to get a PS3 :D

smirnoff ice is tasty stuff, though i do like anything saturated with sugar and flavour, passoa now that is awesome stuff...no wonder im diabetic :indiff:

recent items...not really purchased as they were free :P
but still, whatever i could get from GFSmith papers
