Dude, are these Bontranger rims/spokes?!

They do look like ones that I brought for my racer bike. And man, that's one fast lookin' speedster there! :)

Yep part of the standard package as well as the Bontranger stem, handle bars, saddle, forks and seat post. Its the "Trek 1.7 Triple 2009 Road Bike" by the way.

Forget those puny little Rain Bird sprinklers and get yourself a CAT:

And, as it was on sale, it was cheaper and pulls more hose than the regular Rain Birds.

Nikon D60 Twin Lens kit
Techinally I didn't buy all of it - My parents put $300 into it because it's my big birthday prezzie - but I bought the majority of it. Can't wait till I get it.

For now to keep me occupied. I have a spare AU$50 and it was a reasonably good price.

I believe that is the best thing I have ever seen.
Then you need to get out more. Although it does get a lot of looks from people walking and driving by.

Buying spree today. Among numerous other things:

7/16", 1/2" and 9/16" deep-set impact sockets (impact was cheaper than regular :odd: )
Shopvac filter
Butterfinger Minis
and last, but not least Iron Giant SE for $5

Something is wrong with the world when a movie of that quality makes it on to the $5 discount rack. There is so much more to that movie than just a boy and his robot.

We barely need sprinklers in the UK though so yours is an extra level of special. 👍

I actually hadn't seen it until you and Duke were talking about it a while ago, so I hunted it down at the video store (free 7 day rental on VHS, of all things) and liked it. I wasn't looking for it yesterday, but despite the kids being less than stellar, I knew it wasn't going back in the abyss DVD bin.

Fair enough. It is pretty cool, though. And fairly large, so it's hard to ignore as it's trucking around my yard. Being on the corner only makes it that much more visible.

That's got to be a good thing!

It was on the TV here in the UK at the weekend and I watched it, largely because I'd heard good things about it here at GTP. As a result, I was expecting it to be good, which usually ends up in disappointment. I'm glad to report that I was more than impressed, and will definitely be adding this to my shopping list - it's a really great film, and if I can pick it up for next to nothing, then all the better :D

Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Game of the year edition

£15 for that, not bad. Looking forward to playing it.👍

Bought this for Heather for her birthday. 120gb HD for her 360.

I also bought and installed a sprinkler system for our entire yard. 4 sprinkler heads, elbows, connectors, clamps, T's, and 250' of underground water line. Total cost was only around $150.00 for the entire sprinkler system!!!!! One of the heads we are using has a stainless steel pop up sleeve.

I found this band a couple years ago when I had Napster 2 Go. However when I canceled it I also lost their music. Now I've found their CD's on half.com. Received one today.

They are supposedly a Christian band but so far I haven't heard the Christian part yet. I should get the other one(The Light in Guinevere's Garden) some time this week.

8GB USB stick. Very substantial upgrade from my first USB drive - 256MB Lexar

$46NZ, which was pretty decent.

I haven't purchased it yet, but I'm debating on whether I should buy the new Evans Blue CD(limited edition physical CD) or a couple video games off of half.com.

I also got this in the mail today(the Cd from a couple posts up brother)

I can second those hose clamps. I snapped one on my intercooler pipe...not quite sure how it broke though

Portable Rock Band drums? Now that is cool! 👍
I bought a Strawberry plant and a Grape Tomato plant last night for our mini garden.

Found some more $10 Blu-Rays at Wal*Mart.

And Robocop is the unrated version, which is awesome because I felt the theatrical r-rated version did not have enough violence.[/sarcasm]

Nice Buy 👍 The Usual Suspects is one of my favourite films!

Anyway while I was away I picked up some stuff.

cokin_system.gif

I got the ring, holder-thing and the sliding ND-Grad filter.

I really like the Cokin holder I got for my camera. I mostly use it for a graduated colours.
