Because Steam is awesome and cheap!

I just brought like, 5 games for less than one PS3 or 360 game. Again, tell me, why do I own both of those? :P

When I realized how much cheaper computer gaming can be I went and bought this thing. Now I've got 20 games for PC. The only two games I've bought in the last 3 years for PS3 were Fallout 3 and GT5.

those shoes look so damn weird. I've heard people talk about them for a while now. I need to try them.

Last thing I bought? Groceries.

You nerdy fitness buff you!

 so far from the truth, I've never been into fitness stuff, but I find wearing sandals and flip-flops a no go so these fit the bill as a lightweight alternative...

Plus they are such an odd alternative I had to.

Yeh I saw guy with a pair on in town the other week and I found them intriguing, then after reading a bit more I decided to get them because of the reasons above.

Ordered a pair of these:

Vibram Five Finger
The second most stupidly justified item in the fitness world (1st place is shake'a'weight).

I hope you find value in them, but I would ask you try not to fall for the marketing tosh.

[EDIT] Sorry, should have read on. If you're not using them for fitness but as an alternative then enjoy talking to interested strangers! 👍

Agreed on the fitness angle, I don't do any sports or fitness but I love wearing no shoes, most of the time at home I will wear nothing on my feet. So if I can get away with wearing the minimum at work too (Flip-flops are banned) then I will get allot of wear out of them.

How close do they feel to just being barefoot?

I imagine they feel a lot like being barefoot, except without all the pebbles and splinters stabbing you in the foot. Ever had to walk across a bunch of those fertilizer pebbles? It's like a mine field!

I will let you know when they arrive, they should be with me in the next few days.

From the reviews I have read the feeling is very close to barefoot because of the sole been very flexible. 👍

Do you mind me asking where you got that and how much? Wondering if I can get it cheaper than what they sell it for on their website.

I got it at the Lego store we have here at a local mall, it was $99.99. You could probably find it cheaper on the internet.

Funny thing is, the online lego store says "Sorry, item is not available in this country: United States."

Cheapest online I see is $140. My local store is higher than that.

Be prepared for online addiction :indiff:

Really? I thought the online play was pretty boring... Maybe I haven't played it enough...

Still feel that the last good Battlefield was Battlefield 2.

I bought BC2 a few weeks ago on steam for $20 and yesterday it was $5.. Ugh I should of known.

Last night and this morning I splurged on games since the last few years I haven't bought much outside of WoW time codes...

Bioshock $5
Bioshock 2 $5
Just Cause 2 $13 (Delayed this one too long... I loved #1)
Red Faction: Guerrilla $20 I think
COD MW2 $20

and a few weeks ago I bought BF BC2.. I'll be busy on my computer while we go through these stupid heat waves. :)

Steam's servers are taking a pounding; I can't download Portal!

Blur has lame ass controller mapping. It's either use the 360 controller or a pre-configured keyboard layout, of which you cannot customize. And there's no wheel support....now I have to buy a damn wired 360 controller. POS.

EDIT: As an aside, I'm seriously considering hitting up my folks for the Assassin's Creed Collection, THQ Hit Collection, and the Valve Complete Pack. That's like 1,000 games for $100-something. I. Hate. Steam.
