For MYR9, who doesn't want it?

Linkin_park_hybrid_theory.jpg

Umm... Me.

Which is more important... a new TV, surround sound, or a desktop PC? Well I did the responsible thing and bought neither. What did I buy? This.

12,000 btus of cool air conditioning. With technology improving in the things I mention that I could of gotten, this was needed more than those.

That is just... Gaudy. Even if its ridiculously powerful. It looks ugly as all sin.

Correct me if I'm wrong. But isn't that the machine with an Xbox 360 inside the chassis? Hence why it's so wide.

They call it the Big O, it comes with quad SLI's Dual Xeon processers, and everything you can think of, liquid cooled.

It's utterly ridiculous in my opinion.

-$15.
I missed this game.[/COLOR][/B]
If you love San Andreas make sure you check out Saints Row 2 (available) and Saints Row 3 (coming out this year).
Full co-op campaign sandbox games that are as close as it gets to San Andreas. Saints Row 2 is way better than GTA4 in my opinion by a longshot. 👍 San Andreas and Vice CIty were my favorite GTA games. But now I have grown to love the Saints Row series especially after playing SR2.

I wouldnt even know where to begin with all the items I purchased in the last couple weeks. Had our wedding and honeymoon. Went to Disney world Magic Kingdom, Sea World, Busch Gardens, and Aquatica all within 4 days. Spent lots of money. Spent over a couple grand for this honeymoon to Florida. Well worth it!!!

Yes 4 parks all 4 days in a row!

Just ordered a pair of Maxxis DTH Folding in 2.15" and some WTB tubes. For £60 the DTH's best be worth it.[quote/]

Nice!

I'm running Kenda Nevagal DTC Tomac's at the moment, how you finding the Maxxis? never tried them yet, but everyone raves about High rollers....

Not sure yet I only just ordered them today, hopefully they get delivered before the weekend so I can ride them. The DTH won't compare to the Nevegal though, they are for different styles of riding. I've run some Maxxis Ignitors on my other bike and I really like them.

Some of my purchases from the last few days...

I turned up to do the Torq Roughride, however the weather was horrendous so we decided to give it a miss. Some people did go to the start line however lots of them also came back within 10 mins  I might do the Grizedale Mountain Bike Challenge again this year.

Haha, is the Nikon really a bad camera?

I don't think I have GAS, yet! It was a slight impulse buy but i've been wanting a camera for years. Did some research  and decided to go with the Nikon. My budget started around $450 and I ended up nearly doubling that. If it really is a bad camera or there is something much better for the same price feel free to tell me, I have 14 days to return it if need be. I've only had it for one day and am very happy with it. Still learning everything, i'm a beginner. Might be a bit extreme for a first camera but what the hell.

Please tell me how that works out. That's the case I've been looking at for the past month or so.
I'm looking forward to it. I was really attracted to the Sniper, but it's fairly huge and this has a similar design, albeit slimmer and with smaller fans. Still, 120mm is big enough to move lots of air quietly.

Are you using a CPU you have already? Still on socket 775.
Yeah, I have a stock Q9550. I've been having some motherboard problems lately so I figured I'd keep the processor and upgrade some other things. I'll be transferring my CPU, HDDs, CD drive, and PS over to this new case. Thinking about getting a fancy cooler and overclocking the processor, but my memory and graphics limit most of what I do.

At first I thought it was an Origin computer

Is that a CD drive in the top left? Which means...this box is twice as wide as any normal case? That's ridiculous.

Ignore me, I'm just a Canon guy.

In looking at the specs very quickly, I think I would have been more inclined to get the Canon T3i, or if money is a concern, the $100 less T2i, but, again, I'm biased. That said, I'm certain that the D5100 will serve you very well. 👍

Edit: For comparison, dpreview gives the T3i a 77/100 and the D5100 a 76/100, so it all comes down to which feels better in your hands and therefore which you'll enjoy shooting with more.

Hmm, maybe the Canon Rebel T3i? For some reason I though I looked at and decided against it, but maybe that was a bad decision. Weird.

Edit: Treed!

I don't know though, I may take your advise. I hate to be those people that buy something and immediately return it for something different, but you have me intrigued.

I look forward to hearing about your experience with it.

And yes, its a double wide case, there's an XB360 on one side.

Finally got myself some Frogskins.

Them shades still kicking around?
I remember wearing them in the early nineties.
If I looked hard enough there's probably a couple of pairs lying around my house somewhere.

Cheers Shaun.

I think i've gone crazy. :)

Excellent choice - I've bought one of those right away when they were released in April and it never let me down so far. :)

And no, there's nothing better available on the market for the price of a D5100. Add a 18-105mm and 50mm 1.8G lens and you'll be ready for everything out there.

To make this clear: I had to use the T3i for a few hours at a company event, so that's why I'm stating this. I obviously can't share the photos, sorry.

The sony a55 or a580 are better/on par and cheaper/barely more. From my short time with it and some of the stuff I've read, the d3100 is a better value than the 5100.
Again, hold one in your hands and see what you like. I'd hate to have a camera that feels like a toy or feels weird in my hand.

Uhm no, the D3100s value is...inferior. Just keep in mind that the D5100 has a better sensor, more stuff and the handling is better as well, imho.
