 8 feet wide for a diagonal screen of 8.13941 which roughly equates to x3 32" monitors sounds about right. At a distance of 6-8ft I thought I would be in bliss assuming that motion blur was none existent. :)

In other purchases, my replacement lens just showed up for the Nikon. My other lens quit auto focusing, it would just grind away. For about $100 to ship back and get fixed, I picked up this one off of ebay for about the same price, plus is has VR that my other lens didn't.

@ Pako.

Video cards: Nice, that's some decent power there. Don't forget the 3D Mark II thread also.

Camera Lens: I have one the same and it takes some pretty good shots considering it's price point. 👍

Ordered one of these.
Fizik Antares Saddle.

Borrowed one of a mate and got enough of a ride in to decide it's way more comfortable than my current saddle. Looks the exact opposite though and has less padding than my current saddle but seems to fit my boney rear end just right.

I bought the same lens some years ago but never liked it - the VR seemed to be pretty bad. :/ I know it's a steep increase in price but since I'm using a Sigma 70-200mm 2.8 it's all awesome. I literally hated telephoto lenses before but now I don't even want to put any other lens on my camera.

I definitely want to get some higher quality lenses down the road, but for a quick replacement, it takes decent pics for what we're using it for. I bought a Sigma Wide Angle a couple years ago that I really like for landscapes, etc. More importantly, I'll need a new body before too long, hopefully next year. 👍

Just bought 12 of these bad boys. Hopefully they will last longer than the week my current non brand ones do.

My wife and I just bought a new house since our old house value shot up enough in June. When it is all said and done, we made a whopping $26 on the deal, yessss!

It's a house in Beaverton, OR (west of Portland suburb). Built in 1997, 2,340 sq. ft. 4 bedrooms, 2.1 bath, 3 car garage and the biggest master bedroom for a house under 500K

For the record, buying and selling a house at the same time is nuts  Thankfully my mom was a mortgage underwriter and got me a part time job after college (10 years ago now, woah!) as a mortgage closer so I'm really familiar with the whole process and I caught a $4,000 error from the mortgage lender :sly:

Anyway, here is the tour:

Thats the tour!

We're really happy with the house, it cuts my commute in half (15 min. now!)and my wife works at the elementary school that is literally 1 1/2 blocks away. The best part is we moved away from the entry level housing where basically everyone in the 'hood were renters 👎 Our old, let's just say, 'foreign' neighbors were so loud we had to call the police on them at least once a month.

When we bought our first/old house our loan officer let our interest rate lock expire so we got an interest rate of 5.15% instead of 4.75%. If it wasn't for the $8,000 first time home buyers credit we got in '09 we wouldn't have moved (our old apt. had A/C and HUGE kitchen, bigger than this house even). But now we got 4.625%, we locked right after Bernake said the gov't might, maybe begin to slow down on buying bonds and everyone freaked and interest rate went from like 4.2 to 4.6, thats human behavior 101.

We are 95% done with moving in. We had to install ceiling lights in ALL of the bedrooms, the closets all had lights but not in the main area..wth!? And we are installing a new chandelier above the dining room table and replacing the entry chandelier this week. I also had to put a coax in the office (for NFL Sunday Ticket of course!) and I made an ethernet drop from the office to our living room so streaming netflix on our Tivo looks better..wifi just doesn't cut it even with FOIS. So now I can race GT5/6 on a 50meg FIOS Gigabit home LAN 👍

We also had to pain the sewing/craft room and my gaming/office room as they were pink and neon green :yuck:

Nice. 👍

You have put the pressure on me a bit but I'm sure you will love it.

I dont doubt it, it really is encouragement to ride more with the integration of 'competition' features such as Strava now avaliable to me :sly:

Nice OPV.

Much obliged

Nice house, with a tad of profit 👍

Also, this:

I caught a $4,000 error from the mortgage lender :sly:

Is a pretty good catch!

Nice house Jump! Looks spacious.

It is very spacious, we don't step on each others toes now :P

And here I was about to post a new toothbrush. Congrats dude! The hosue looks clean!

It's clean for now

Are the ceilings as low as they look (kitchen/dining room), Jerome? I'm sure I recall you being a giant.

That can be deceiving, since I'm a good 6'4", I took the pics basically at eye level, haha. The ceilings is about 8ft. high I think???...haven't measured. All I know is my head doesn't hit the ceiling lights

Thanks for the kind words guys 👍

Jerome

If you don't mind me asking, how many square feet is the house and property? Looks like it was mad expensive.

Jump Ace,
Congrats on the house. Sounds like it worked out in every way possible. You got away from loud neighbors, you are closer to work and your wife is closer to work. Win win win! 👍

I recently purchased some speaker box carpet for a box I made for my WRX. More details are posted here.

Box was free since I made it myself using free 3/4" material. Well I did have to buy some glue, caulk, and screws.

12" Polk Momo sub I already had.

$5.00 Carpet spray glue

$17.00 for speaker carpet. Enough for 2 speaker boxes. One for my WRX Impreza and one for Heathers RS Impreza.

$140.00 Alpine Amp 500 watts
