I don't have pictures of my actual kit, but I received this in the mail the other day. The box is MASSIVE, it was mailed in a 24x16x6 box and took up ALL of the real estate in it.

Can't wait to get the MG RX-93 Hi-Nu Gundam Ver Ka. to go with this!

Apologize my ignorance, but: what the hell is that?!

It's a plastic model from the Gundam series, more specifically the movie "Char's Counterattack"

Yes, it really is a plastic scale model. I'm trying to find information on how big it is built, but his shield has got to be at least 8-9 inches tall.

This is the same model, just painted with tiny extra details. All the inner frame is out of the box.

Nice looking rims 👍. Upon first glance, I thought they were carbon clinchers with an alloy brake strip like the Aura 5s or Zipp 60s. As a deep all alloy wheel, have you ridden them long enough to notice a difference in areo compared to your previous rims? And what's your general opinion on these? For the price, they look they are definitely worth the it.

I'll let you know when they turn up and have a good ride on them as I've only ridden them for a short distance on a friends bike. He seems to love them and they get raving reviews on the net for their price range.
Keep in mind they are a mid level wheel so they're not super lightweight but are a bit lighter than my current set.

As for the aero aspect I'm a bit sceptical on the whole deal unless you go really deep as these are only 35mm in comparison to my current 25mm rims, wasn't the main reason for the purchase of them really.

You or the robot in your appartment!

Logitech Wireless Touch Keyboard K400

My wife likes to prop her feet up when using my computer but A) the keyboard cord is too short and B) she has to sit forward to use the mouse. Found this for $40 and appears to take care of both issues.

I bought one of those for the A/V Club's game server. It was surprisingly good. Didn't expect much from it, but it worked really well.

Got one of these:

Yep. Just made a want and jelly sandwich. Lucky bastard.

In the process of manhandling the optical drive that came with my laptop out (it turns out no amount of pulling with pliers will remove an optical drive when you remove every single screw from the bottom of your laptop except the one that holds it in place that is hidden under the warranty sticker), I destroyed the proprietary bezel that actually went on it.

No matter. $6 later:

This one doesn't have a button for opening the drive (but whatever. I'd only need to push it, what, twice ever?) like my old one did because it's for the older version of my laptop that had the eject function on the touch panel above the keyboard, but I wasn't paying $16 more for one that did have one. And I honestly wanted the touch panel button anyway because I thought it looked better, but halfway there ain't bad.

Just arrived today. Loaded it up to get it ready and downloaded the cars with the code. Played for a little bit, too. But, I'm still busy with Peace Walker.

Not bad for £23, the cable it comes with is ridiculously long as well. Can't seem to get it to record my electric guitar amp correctly though, the sound comes out very buzzy. Works well with acoustic and vocals though.
