Thanks for the playseat responses gents.
I've had it now for about a month and a half and it was a great investment.
65" OLED, 7.1 surround,ps4pro, T150/T3PApro... love the chair and the missus loves that it goes out of sight when finished playing.

My 6x9 piece of gaming real estate:

Seems like the Playseat Challenge is quite popular! At 6'0 (all arms and legs), I was worried that I wouldn't be able to fit comfortably in it - after the initial setup, the velcro gave and the rig collapsed on me while playing (OUCH!). Since, I've settled on the rim being closer to my body.

@Lord Protector, how did you extend your velcro, as I'd like to be able to extend my arms out a bit more.

I asked my colleague to do it for me but basically what she did was she used a sewing machine to extend it. I have no idea how to do it, sorry.

If there's someone good at sewing they should be able to get it done though :) Or you can just go to a sewing shop or something...

Oh my God! I'm not the only one! Happened to me on day 2 of ownership. I had the Velcro extended a bit to much and it just gave out on me. Moved the wheel closer and haven't had any problems since.

Honestly- if you like F1 you’ll love it having your feet in the air with your ass of the floor is unbelievable driving exp in F1 2017.
The GT mode is also great. If you just do GT I would say it’s still worthy considering the price point but you may want to get something where you can upgrade the seat if you’re strictly GT driving.

Hey happy how do you like the F1GT. Thinking about getting one. Wondering how it is.

Oh I play F1, nascar, GT, Pcars, love all racing games. Was lookin at the GT Omega art cockpits, but really like the functionality of the F1GT. Especially at the price point

If it was between the two I’d go with the f1gt this thing is rock solid and the F1 config is life changing lol.
I did mod the Hshifter mount on mine though if you notice. I predrilled holes on the frame where I wanted it to go and bolted it in. It was a little too forward for me. No issues.
The other pro is I’m 6’4” and fit nicely in the rig at its furthest settings. My wife (who I let try once lol) is 5’7” and she was very comfortable too with adjustments. I have a power drill with Alan bit handy when I need to make quick adjustments.
Hope this helps enjoy @Torqueflight

Thanks happyjuice think you just helped me out when I get ready to move on from my playseat challenge. Was curious about how stable it was. It looks very stable. Cheers
