Simulate GT3 Time Trials in GT4

Anyone fancy running a mock version of the GT3 Time Trials?
They will be run on the equivilant combo only this time in GT4 ... All combo's will be in the same order as the previous games Time Trials. "but we dont have Complex String in GT4" I hear you say! ... so we will substitute that and send the RUF RGT for a lap at the Nurburgring instead! .. Also there is no Evo VII for TT9 which is substituted with the Evo VI 👍

This will be left open with no Deadline so run them whenever you wish and lets see who has what it takes to be the best for each event .. Have fun and Good Luck
I will create Individual leaderboards for each event when and If there is any interest

Standard Clean OLR Rules:

• Arcade Cars only in these events!
• 2 wheels on (or vertically in line with) the track at all times
• rumble/ripple strips are part of the track
• no contact with walls or objects, visible or invisible
• if you're not 100% sure that your lap is clean, then consider it dirty
• Any combo that has grey or green area behind the rumble strips must still have 2 wheels on the rumbles or tar to be legal
• save your replay ('Save Replay' icon)
• The 'Top 3 times' for each event have 2 weeks in total to supply the proof or they will be deleted and reported to the proper authorities!
• If your replay is randomly requested and you fail to deliver within an alloted time! You're laptime will be deleted.
• no hybrids
• no cheating of any kind
• nothing that goes against the spirit of the rules

Actually, you know, I think I'm going to kill that race and start playing these time trials now. I'll think on that for a bit and get back in here as soon as I can.

Well, Mr P has done it!
I'm definately going to be hooked on this until I can get a good clean lap.
Ran the RGT around the Ring and well... First of all, I only managed to finish two laps. Both dirty, one faster than the other but still with a 2+ second fishtail error. (that time was in the 7'05 area, looks like 7'00.000 will be my goal). That said...

This was the first time I've run the Ring past T6 and felt that "don't screw up" feeling in my gut since before hurricane Katrina. (that makes over a year now!)
It's great to be back!

Well... Mr P might have as well stolen every game and system in my house cause this is the only thing that's going to be played for as long as I can see coming.
Ran TT10. Haven't hit my mark yet but I can see it in there easily.

Current best clean lap (and submission for the time being)...

TT10: 7'00.078 (clean replay saved)
Will submit the replay as soon as I can (assuming I don't improve on that in the next day) (I'm surely going to try improving).

As of now though, I find this RGT to be a ton of fun. Never realiized it could be this fast either... Always thought it fell short of the DB9, Z06, Z-tune, R-tune, and just about anything else competitive in those ranks. Turns out I was wrong and in one day I managed to take the RGT below what I've done with all of the above (expect the Z-tune, which barely made it under 7 minutes).

In any case, that's my first submission...

good thinking ron! tho i never played gt3 so i dont know how that was, these trials are excellent. i wont be doing the dirt or nurb but the others will be a nice challenge.

one Q about the rules: what about the sweet concrete slabs, especially in grand valley and deep forest: allowed or forbidden?

the supra is great. much more to gain at one of my favorite tracks

good to see this nsx doesnt have the usual gearing delays that the prod and race versions suffer from. GV is a great track too!

Yeah, the S2K is more than likely a Used Car from the Used Lot II.
They appear regularly but if you need to speed the passing of days, use license tests, just skip from one to another... Doesn't cost a cent and works rather well (don't even need to exit the menu, just use "go to next test" and it keeps racking up the days).
