BTW, Ron, I now started using the kiddy view for rallies. Dunno why, but seems like I need a view that shows more of the direction the car is heading while rallying :sly:

Whatever works for you mate :) 👍 just dont let it become a bad habit as it has for me ... I just cant shake it :sly:

TT1: 1'17.664

Sectors: 24.326 / 47.814

Now I'm sandwiched between Kelly and Kent, hmmm.

GT4 (and, backwards reflecting, GT3) is the first game where I started using bumper-views. Probably because it actually fits, and also because I find the kiddy view in GT4 extremely bad. Tough to track the car exactly, and the changed console makes shifting tough... But it still works for rallying and drifting.

GT3 was just much better for rallying without a doubt! .. and I miss the original easier to drive Alps as this one is pretty niggly for full speed driving taking the turn directly after the bridge at T2 :grumpy: In GT3 you could gallop through it at full speed with your eyes shut almost :sly:

Updated 👍

I'm exactly the same, used kiddy view through all of GT3 just couldn't use it in GT4 it felt weird :indiff:
So I started out GT4 with the hood showing, and now I'm moving closer to floor with bumper view on most of my runs :D Could never use bumper view for rally though

The twin tighties, with the banking? I loved that section... Though, I was sad to see they kept the right-left hairpin after T3 the same. Never got the hang of it...

I'm using the hood-view on the FGT - looks lovely over the bumps, with the suspension compressing.

Spent a good 25-30 min and got:
TT1 - 1:17.049
Still want that last .1 but maybe later.

15 min here is all I can manage for now:
TT4 - 1:22.026

Hmm....another .1 would be great, where have I seen this b4?
Great fun Ron! 👍

TT3: 15.891 - 1'01.410 - 1'51.693

This was one of those Tokyo annoyances... You get down to a 1'52.2xx after about a half an hour, cleanly, but you can't submit because you have two to three tenths STARING YOU IN THE FACE in MULTIPLE places around the track. So the next hour of racing was split between last night and this morning until I came up with a clean fluke. Best dirty lap before this one was a 1'52.1xx, and clean was the original 1'52.2xx, but so much more time was staring me in the face. I got most of it in this lap, but there are still 2-5 tenths out there for the more alien-like.

I tried the RGT, but wanted to just get something done quick(didn't end up being so quick) so I tried to do a couple of the others that REALLY appeal to me(DAMN WELL DONE RON!), but I don't have the exact cars...

The GRRRRRRRRing was because I don't want to spend time playing GT4, but oh, I doooooo... More later!(not on TT3, I'm done there)

Sweet laps guys and good to have you on board with these 👍

Updated jake73, KLR142 and jump_ace

Alright, enough is enough, SOMEONE has to put this 'Mr.P' in his place, haha. Great times Ron, always just a lil' quicker than me and it drives me nuts, lol :ouch:

Uh... I did? :sly:

My F1 car is currently running through Fuji 1000km so I can afford to get more of the cars. 👍

Indeed, but we need to take over here buddy lte's see if we can rob him of a few more top spots, let's get 'em! :)

A 30 min session brought me:
TT6 - 1:11.476
Was .3 faster at T3 but the finish was dirty :grumpy:

30 min again and what a switch from 6 straight to 2, two VERY different cars, thought I'd never break 1:40 :):
TT2 - 1:39.872, I can see another .2 or .3 maybe.

Must say this is just great fun bouncing around race to race...I think I'll do this one, oh and this looks good, just some relaxed driving, totally great!

20 min here:
TT5 - 1:25.715
Finally gotcha (for now...)

45min here:
TT3 - 1:51.627

My replays are of multiple laps but the actual lap is there, I can upload them if you want, just let me know. I haven't given them the 'wrs stamp of approval' yet, but they should be clean.

GF 'allowed' me to do another session, lol.

30min session:
TT7 - 1:39.025
I can see another .3 max as I was .1 behind my ghost from T1 then took over

Jerome

Sweet laps mate 👍 will update them in the morning as soon as I get up 3:20am here and I never even noticed :P

Nice work

Right now I've only got my TT10 replay (as it is on a different memory card from the others).
That said... Here's my 6'58.303 TT10. 👍

Thanks for letting me know,

Will run some more tommorow, maybe chop down the TT4 some more because there's a couple of tenths in there. TT6 could also unveil some surprises.

TT2

Also the MX-5 is a blast to drive. :D

20.027
44.147
1'17.653
1'41.152

There's a long way up to Kelly, so I had to settle for Kent. :D

Edit: Well, I got lucky. :D

19.734
43.342
1'16.766
1'40.248

Ron, what about the gearbox settings? Standard like with GT3, or adjustable?

Might give a few a crack too.

Good to see the Bossman interested in these  ... The only tests with adjustable gear settings are tests TT6 / TT7, feel free to adjust them to whatever suits you 👍

ran a few more laps on TT3 before bed 1'51.315 ( been ahead by quite a bit to lose on last section :( .. will clean it up today ;) )

Everything Updated in here now

I added these icons (
max.jpg
= Maxdrive .max ) .... (
xport.jpg
= Xport or Sharkport .xps / .sps ) which will be attached on the Leaderboard next to the submitted laps with a replay posted and simply click the icon and it should download for you 👍

So far only Kent has a replay uploaded 👍 I will upload a few in the next day or so also :) there's no rush guys as long as the top 3 upload within a 2 week period

TT3 again ... 15.825 / 1'01.328 = 1'51.086 :)

I reckon a decent wheeler could break into the 1'49's with this one

Down to a 1'39.146, but I didn't put in much time yet 15-20 min or so. Should be able to dethrone Ron without too much further effort, just gotta find the time to do it, and go borrow a maxdrive before hand so I don't get my replays all mixed up. Damn car sure likes to understeer though, especially in full power configuration...

EDIT: This was for TT7...

Great time, Kyle. Would you mind sharing your splits? Nice to see, where I lose all that time. :ouch:

Nice gold signs, Ron. :)
