Pretty sure I have you added on my SFX_Pwner account. I'll hit you up this weekend as I'm definately gonna need help.

I don't mind the shifting, I just need to mount my shifter in a better spot. It's very uncomfortable clamped to my desk.. I miss 2nd-3rd quite a bit lol. Also, is it normal for my wheel to just want me to go in a straight line? It seems like as soon as a try and turn I have to fight the hell out of to do anything. When I watch videos it seems like everyone elses wheel is turning all nice and smooth and mine is a pain in the ass. I don't know.

Have you got the steering wheel set to "Simulation"? Also if your having to fight it, turn the FFB down. I had to with the DFGT... 10 was just too much XD I use 2 now.

I do have it set to simulation but my FFB is at 8 or something so maybe that is part of the problem. I've only got to mess with it a couple hours so I don't really know what to expect yet.

Add me zedfonsie on psn. I am about to get on gt5 are you on?

Nah I'm at work but I have the next 3 days off so I'll try and catch you at some point. I thought I accepted your FR last night but I never seen you pop up on my list or whatever so I must have declined it or your list was full. I dunno, I'll add you when I get home.

Your sfx pwner account is on mine as I have just checked,:tup:Anyways, If you want a good beginners car learn with a 180sx/200sx/240sx because they are lightweight, agile and you can easily flat foot.

I've been messing with the premium S13 with about 300hp. I'm getting it a little bit.. definitely going to take some time.. and I could really do with rigging up some type of handbrake. lol

Handbrake makes a huge difference.

I was using chase view for a good while too but was much better almost instantly when I switched to hood/roof cam.

The Z4m is a good car to learn with too if your getting tired of the S13.

I'm having fun with the S13 so far. Getting to the point where I'm actually able to keep my car from spinning out in every corner.. still have a way to go though.

Get on today :)

I got on last night and it said you were offline for 2 minutes. :(

@Bks - Working out good. Still can't drift for beans but I'm not spinning out in every corner.

Also on a pretty sweet note; I'll be moving the 1st of the month which means I'll be back on a good internet connection which means we'll have nightly lobbies up. They might be up rather late, but there will be lobbies atleast.

Glad to hear it. I won't have good internet for another year. :( My mum god rid of Virgin's fibre optic internet for Sky's useless ADSL stuff. It's crap. I went from 120mbps all the way to 1.7mbps and now she regrets it. :( I can hardly play PS3, only time I can properly is when nobody is using the laptops in my house. XD

Why on earth did she switch?

Because she's old, and because Sky was giving away 6 months free broadband >.>

I keep warning her about Sky and how Landlines work. Our exchange is only 2k away (as the crow flies). However, the way the cable is routed i.e. From our house > cab > exchange is 4.2 km. The line attenuation 67.4Db which works out at around 4.2km giving my line a maximum of 1.6mbps even though I so close to the exchange and should be topping out at around the 15/16mbps mark. Blame BT for the way the laid down the old copper wire back in the days. It's routed crazy, what they need to do is rip every single piece of copper wire out, replace it with high resistance copper, and route it neatly and sensibly so that it's taking the shortest route to the cab/dslam and then to the exchange.

OR

They could just install wireless in the exchanges and everyone could have fast, reliable broadband and we could get it anywhere we go but if they want to do that, then they'd best hurry as 2015 approaches fast bringing with it 4G mobile networks with speeds as fast as fibre optic for mobiles, tablets etc. The way they're going to achieve that is by using the old analogue signals the TV's use. This is what the big digital switch over is all about. So when they shut off the analogue signals for TV's, mobile network providers can jump on them and provide customers with even better deals, packages and internet speeds.

Oh good I'm in luck so! I can only get mobile broadband in my area, but in fairness its not all that bad.

How long is the sky contract?
