Oh good I'm in luck so! I can only get mobile broadband in my area, but in fairness its not all that bad.

How long is the sky contract?

1 year minimum. I could pay a fee of like £90 to cancel but neither me or my mum have £90 to cancel a contract atm, so we're left stuck with them atm. It ain't so bad if I'm honest. Ping times are relatively low, and the speed is consistent, which is good. I haven't had a problem with the router nor any dropping out so far, which means they've finally sorted out their old router gremlins from back in the day. It's just the router can't handle 3 laptops, a PS3 and 2 Xboxs at the same time, there just isn't enough mbps to spread out evenly. It's like a 56K dial-up connection if you try to spread it out that much, so I've just got to pick my moments when I can come on PSN or Live.

Yeah, in my house there's 2 PS3's, 2 laptops and a desktop, and I'm the only one that can access the router's ip address, so if I want it bad I can disable the WiFi, plug the cable into my PS3 and say the internets down hehe.

Heh, you've seen nothing then. Come to my house and our network will blow your mind. XD

I've got the router connected to 2 switches, and every room in the house has homeplugs. Not only that but every laptop & xbox has a static IP as well as the PS3. Then I've got the firewall which is double encrypted.. No hackers getting anywhere near our network XD. Best of it is, because we run on Linux, virus attacks will never happen.

Haha, yeah I kinda thought it would. I'm going to expand the network though. Adding a web/mail server, VM/Network rendering server and a file storage server Once I find a job xD

We got 20mpbs and we only have 2 computers, 1 ps3, 1 ps2.


Well we actually have 4 computers but the other 2 have broke, one of them is some old gateway, the other is my dell that broke after 2 weeks of use and my 300$ geeksquad extended warranty plan that says "it covers everything" did not cover it and they wanted to charge my broken laptop 200$ to fix it! screw that, and since its a dell laptop, the keys are all ripped out and the cd-rom is jammed. Thanks dell :/

Sorry fellas, I know I made it seem I was gonna be back again like in the old days, but I had a quarter-life crisis and took up boxing so most of my free time has been going toward training. When I'm not doing that I just pretty much watch a lot of movies and stuff recorded on DVR. I know one fact about me is if I'm not smokin then I'm not gamin, and I'm not smokin, sooooo...

Maybe in about a year or two you'll see me on youtube in an amateur boxing match knockin fools out, har har.

I'm always on GT5 now. I haven't been on my Xbox in donkeys even though I've got a full years subscription, haha. It's just not the same anymore. Prefer my PS3 nowadays. It's got BBC iPlayer, 40D and free online. Suits me to a tea, plus I've got the wheel for it, so racing games instantly become better.

Once I get settled in my new place and get internet hooked up I'm going to see about recruiting a few people. I'll have a good connection and will actually be able to host lobbies. I've already got a few in mind so we should be pretty active again within the next few weeks.

PS3 & Xbox site are different. Share the same name and people form the xbox side basically got a spot on the team if they wanted it and was active.

Apart from that everything else is ran differently, so it would of only applied on the FM side.
