I was about to say "Hey Pwner! Lets go drift!"... Then I realized I couldnt do that.

Edit: my main grip car will probably be the Amuse S2K, got to love that VTEC.

Can you guys help me with something?

How do I alter my tune so my car doesn't flick off in many directions forcing me to enter the turn early or veering off half way through a corner completely?

Might be your toe settings. I had that same problem. What are your settings at?

Did the toe settings fix your car?

Edit: its probably something along the lines of spring rates or ARBs.

I say this as basic rules for touge/time attack. We can do two classes, Class A and Class B, with maybe a third class as being "Unlimited", now hear me out.

Class A:
404hp max, Comfort Soft max, 1150kg weight max/min, or maybe we can do without the weight. These would be your normal "streetish" touge cars.

Class B:
650hp max, Sports Soft max, 1025kg min/max weight. Again, we could do without the weight restrictions and/or discuss. These would be your tuned up touge machines, or well built time attack cars.

Unlimited:
No horsepower cap, Racing Softs, no weight cap. JGTC cars, race cars, supercars would all fall under here.

What do you guys think?

Edit: I guess you would switch Class A and Class B.

Going to use this for our cruises now or what? Just want to know if I should stick to these as it would be fun fun fun!

EDIT: I'm in live party too if you all feel like getting on that for that.

EDIT EDIT: Decided I will run some cars unmodified(oil change accepted) on Top Gear Test Track and post some times in here for you guys to compare if you are interested, also list a few cars you would like to do, i'm open to suggestions.

Now... It's time to (be)at THE STIG!

Um, no.....

.....but thanks for your input.

If you're happy with your regulations cro, I will run these select cars in stock form on TGTT, then built to these specs to show how much they improve. Some cars I have picked are the 430 Scuderia, Viper SRT10, AMG C63 and an R32 V-Spec II.

All are premiums and I shall decide which cars are to be built to which class soonish, once you say these rules are going to actually be in use cro.

I don't get the PP system GT uses. Might just be me but it seems like some cars that are fairly similar in PP wouldn't exactly be that competitive with each other. Maybe I am just an idiot. I'll go with that.

I'm honestly pretty happy with the rules, we're yet to test them online but it should be a good place to start. I'm going to try to figure out some stuff for touge and time attack to put in the OP.

Speaking of the OP, go look at the changes made to the driver profiles. I'm going to need everyone's "backup drifter" or "second favorite" as well as their touge/time attack car of choice. Please PM them to me. :)

Im back from BDC, sunburnt, tired and my feet are dead. But my god was it AWESOME. The smell of the rubber and the sound of all the SR20s, JZs, & RBs screaming around the track, you think it couldn't get any better, but you turn around and there's FIA British Truck racing

Dude, nearly every time attack series i know use road semi slick race tyres. But if we're cruising street style then we use comforts

Are we allowing AWD for touge/time attack?

Are we allowing AWD for touge/time attack?

Yeah I guess, but we would only run them against other AWD. I imagine the touge being a lot like we did in Forza, where it was almost always RWD. We will still do other drivetrains though, hell I even prefer FF over AWD, so much fun.

Pick a track cro for now that we can use for practice and tuning whilst PSN is down. Something twisty but short, touge style.

The TGTT is good fun but I thought earlier it would be better for now on an in-game track with elevation and hairpins etc.

I say we do Cote de Azur or however the hell its spelled. I love the environment there, and it has a touge feel. Fun to drift as well, what do you guys think?

Oh and hopefully I will finish all my custom tracks today, I have some epic stuff ready whenever PSN goes back online..... if it ever does that is.

Sounds good. I'll stick with tuning a FR car for the most part then.

PM in a sec also.

I say we time artack that track using real track edge, tire wear and fuel off, no assists but you can use ABS. And be fair, no punk cheating like driving line or whatever. ;)

Oh and lets start by doing the low class cars first. I like the names Adam came up with best so the "Street" cars will have 404hp max, comfort soft and IIRC a 1150kg weight min/max. Lets also do FR only for now.

What are your guys opinions, especially about a 1150kg weight restriction?

1150 is pretty low to be honest, most cars will probly be able to have stage 3 weight and still be well within the limit

That's true. That should probably be the limit for the higher hp class. Maybe somewhere around 13 or 1400.. or even a bit higher?

Or we could do by stages instead of specific weight. Like Street can only have stage one, Tuner can only be stage 2 and unlimited can be stage 3

All the assist stuff is how I roll anyways and I actually use the 'real' track edge physics quite often now, I like it as I think it creates a more realistic slide out of corners.

Weight i'm not too sure about, I don't use it much but will having 1150+ make it still possible for lighter cars like MX-5's, S2K's and the like to be eligible?

I'm all for the close control of regulations but I think weight is one of those factors in touge that makes for more excitement. ALSO: In the settings page for your car there is a 'Power to Weight Ratio' reading under the 'Current Performance' tab on the right, maybe we could experiment with this instead since this should match cars fairly well, especially if drivetrain is restricted.

Anything over a 4.00 kg/BHP for Street Class seems sufficient maybe as my drift Viper GTS makes 3.36 kg/BHP compared to my reasonably faster Scuderia making 2.59 kg/BHP both with no engine mods. It seems to be quite good looking through the statistics on a few of my cars comparing power and weight of each.👍

Need finalised track decision too, Cro I think you have the honors with Adam if he's there.:odd::odd:

I honestly expected they had the idea that one day would be enough but gave two days to get some leway with time. I thought it would be back up within 48hrs but that's passed i'm quite sure so it's anyones' guess now when it will get fixed, i'm so desperately waiting to play socom online...and drift!
