We have a winner! Congrats to patriotsfanx who correctly guessed 28 points - -right on the money. The two teams, with 19 State Championships between them traded points in the last two minutes to force overtime. TD's and PAT's for both in the first OT as well. Our D held and forced a field goal in the second OT and when it was the offense's turn. 4th down on the 2, decision time - and they went for it. Big pile up, second and third effort and they punched it in to win 28-24.

patriotsfanx, though unfortunately named (sorry, had to do it :) - go Colts) you now need to choose between a 23 ticket and a 1970 ticket. Please post your choice here. Also, please FR me and don't leave it blank, thanks.

I'll have a look when I turn on my PS3 today. I'm sure your FR is there. For future reference, the above is an unnecessary post that just bogs down the thread and will be frowned upon. A visitor message would have been better for the above question. You WILL get your paint - I guarantee it.

You won them after I left for the evening last night. I arrived home after midnight and went to bed. It's now shortly after 9 am. Patience....

I went ahead and sent some to mjm_98 as well. I liked how he acted when he missed out by less than a minute, mere seconds maybe. You can never have too many rare paints. Enjoy!

It's matte but I made the picture warmer, so the background looked a bit better. It was black by the end of the race though. Do you need anything else sending sir?
 
Anytime you can make her warmer that's a good thing! (cars people... CARS!)

Giveaway #8 - "Everybody In"

prize - multiple 0/0/0 Cars to multiple winners - DLC Painted if you would like. My 0/0/0 car list will be placed on the OP shortly. I have some good ones - GT No Stripe, ZZ II, Buick Special, Seven Fireblade, and about 15 more interesting ones that escape me at the moment as Mrs Smitty is giving me heck about helping clean the house for the birthday party this afternoon and I'm rushing this - :) . Also nearly everything from the recent OCD's that had everyone whipped into a frenzy is on the 0/0/0 list if you missed something.

You may enter Giveaway #8 with a simple post along the lines of "enter me in Giveaway #8" or something similar. There are no extra points for cleverness but it is always encouraged! I'll be taking entries for several days (up to 20 or so entries is what I have in mind) to allow me to send the previous winners their cars and tickets while giveaway #8 unfolds.

fyi... I don't plan on building a gift schedule that encompasses weeks of scheduled "slots" so to speak, so a giveaway #8 "style" will enter the mix from time to time. Random draw with the help of my nearly 8 year old son (Kid-of-Steel- on PSN and a pretty solid racer) will decide the winner.


For no reason whatsoever here is one of my all time favorite photos... The glorious back end of a DLC painted premium Ford GT, at 200+ mph, roaring down the Mulsanne Straight in France.
