My GS Vantage behaved as it had RS on it. Absolutely stuck. Practiced exclusively with ABS off getting 2:06.xx. Turned it on race night. Turn 3 & 6 are critical. You have to hit your apex every time. (Turn 3 especially, you feel like you have to practically stop in order to do that). Nürburgring is not typically my best track. Hmmm, hope Nova checked settings before race start! I’ll have to check this evening, I’m suddenly paranoid. Good talk!

Event #5 on 11/6/20
at Nurburgring GP Post Race Report
Event #5 saw a smaller grid than we have been used to, but there no lacking of great racing and many battles, especially in Race 2.
In Race 1, @Rob Brown jumped out to an early lead in the GS Class with Nova attacking at every corner earlier in the race. Once into and through the TCR Class traffic, Rob checked out and drove to an easy Race 1 class victory. @JLBowler drove his way to class wins in both races with steady and very consistent laps, and had plenty of work battling through a tightly paced field, especially in Race 2.
In Race 2, both classes were grouped very tight, battling and racing hard and continued even further as the classes merged. I had a short peek of the replays so far, and battles were raging all over the track. I had a great run against @Rob Brown and @nmcp1 earlier in Race 2 until I decided an attempt to out brake nmcp1 in the NSX...Didn't work out: found myself in the grass and ultimately in the back of the pack. Rob Brown had some amazing pace for this event and nearly closed in on @GTR4MROD at the finish of Race 2 to take 2nd place. For me, between the classes merging and the battling between @nmcp1 and @Noob01_lmdead for 3rd place, I was able to catch up and actually engage in that battle for 3rd place over the final 2 laps.
TCR Class had some awesome door to door racing, most notably @JLBowler against @Fudman420, and another against @Phlano099 until an unfortunate error in Turn 1 took Phlano099 out of contention.
Overall, a great race night for most.
Have a look at the Replay Broadcasts or Replays and feel free to elaborate further on your own in race battles.
While it was another successful event, there were some incidents that could be subject to review if reported. Drivers are encouraged to report any incidents that may have occurred by this Monday, 5pm est. Self reports are not reviewable

Great racing everyone, and I'll look forward to our next event
For all drivers, Rob made this point and is worth reminding, that we have 1 caution available per race (2 total for the night). The T1 incident referenced by @GTP_Guido is the perfect example of when to request a caution by any drivers involved. While an unfortunate circumstance, a caution can afford those drivers involved the opportunity to re-engage and make up some positions and at least enjoy the remainder of the race and the ensuing battles. Also, for clarity, the order that the field would regroup is where you were positioned when the Caution was issued by me, not requested. Typically those drivers involved should request the Caution immediately after an incident occurred. Once I see at least 2 requests for Caution or more for an incident, I will issue the Caution over the party chat. Whatever position you are in when the Caution is issued is where you remain until green returns to Green. Due to the very tight and congested traffic, this series presents the high risk of incidents. Overall, I feel we all have done very well and do our best to remain clean, but mistakes and accidents will happen. Hence the reasons for the Caution availability and the penalty reporting process. Let's use them as needed moving forward.
Event #6 Details post will be out later this week. See most of you for our Porsche event on the 20th, and the rest on Dec 4th.

Not necessarily. If all the field has passed those involved and who requested the caution, obviously they would fall in line at the back as they come back onto the track. Now, lets assume the field is a bit more spread out due to a few single car offs, and then 2 drivers tied up and requested the caution. If they returned to the track safely and establish their placement on track before the back runners pass them, they will fall in line based on when the Caution is issued, potentially in front of those back runners. Basically, where a driver is placed when I accept and issue the caution is where they stay until green. Good thought.
Confirming for December 4th! Bummed I missed the race, I like that track a lot. Would’ve been rough either way. This hotel WiFi is garbage. See you all the 4th!!
Confirmed for next race. I'm off next week @llNovall so I could test that BOP adjustment at Laguna and the other track I forgot and we can tweak it for the race.

Perfect Roman, that would be huge to get you dialed in. If you could run laps at the Nurburgring GP, 17:00 Clear and Red Bull Ring 7:45 fine weather...that would give me some data to compare since those are the last 2 that you were absent. Should be able to get you dialed in from there. See you in few hours in the Porsches. Good luck sir.

To all Drivers tagged in this post, please confirm your status by posting here in the thread or via PSN message that you "will" or "will not" be racing by 5pm Thursday (day before race night) to secure your grid spot and/or to adhere to the absentee policy.
The final Driver BOP regulations have been updated and shown in the 2nd post of the thread. Please verify and apply these latest numbers to your car before entering the race room.
Also, I would ask that all drivers re-review section 4 of the first post, tabs 4.1 (Multi-Class Racing etiquette) and tab 4.2 (Caution process) for the series; and tab 1.7 (Race Start Procedure) to refresh and be ready on race night. Any questions at all, please reach out and clarify before race night.

All drivers are required to be in the party chat whether they have a mic or not. Caution calling and directives will be issued through the party chat, and for those without a mic, it would come through your monitor/tv audio.
**(In the event a Caution is called during the race, I ask everyone to be patient and cooperative.)**
***Please review tab 4.2 in the first post and clarify or ask any questions before we get to race night.***
All drivers who make it on the grid as a single or dual room event, please stay in the race event for the night, as we will have had to turn some drivers away and it would be a wasted opportunity for them to race ir you entry is needed to keep the 2 room grid whole. If you do not plan on participating for the duration of the night, leave the spot open. In the Event of a solo off track or spin, run to gather up as many points as possible (and there is always the possibility of a Caution to get you back up to field) Stay with it.
Primary Drivers will be given priority for each class, then go to the Reserves for each class as needed. Reserve Driver priority will be based on prior testing/time trialing participation, then based on order of availability. Please reply your intentions either way.
Also, a reminder to our Reserve Drivers: in the event we secure confirmations of at least 14 GS Drivers and at least 10 TCR Drivers total for each class, we will separate the race Event into 2 race rooms by Class. Once confirmed, your entry is being relied on for attendance.
Anyone with a 👍 has already confirmed and are noted to be present for Friday, December 4th. Everyone else, please confirm, here in the thread or via PSN message, that you "will" or "will not" make it no later than 5pm est Thursday (Day before Race Night). *Please reply either way*
Unfortunately, I will have to report my absence for the Dec. 4 race. I was informed Tuesday that I will be traveling for work next week and there is a very good chance that I will not be back home in time to race on Friday night.

A reminder to the following primary drivers: Confirmation deadline for this Friday's event at Lago Maggiore West is Thursday, 5pm est. Please be sure to confirm your status before then to secure and maintain your grid spot. @Rob Brown @Bologna_Duc @Noob01_lmdead @GTP_Guido @GTR4MROD @Herimopp89
So with COVID rates spiking and states near total lockdown my family decided I should move sooner (like now) rather than later so I'm going to have to skip this race as well as the Porsche race at Monza. If I don't talk to you guys have a happy holidays! I'll be back in January.
