It is penguin after all. Also I have seen people forget to change their compounds, watching their name drop down the finishing order with their 50 second penalty. It's heart breaking/hilarious!

It tells you right there in front of you on the screen how many required pit stops you still need to make. If you forget...Hmmm

It does... But it doesn't say if you changed your compound, that's what people usually forget. lol or depending on the track you burp the throttle to maintain speed just as the fueling options come up. Le sarthe and brands hatch are bad for that one.

K, I'm out. Have fun.
Already!! I'm suprised.

I'm sorry but for me a 90 minute race isn't fun. 45 minutes to an hour is about my limit for endurance. Just my two cents. Y'all have your fun.

45 minutes to an hour isn't endurance racing it's sprint racing. 2 plus hours is endurance racing. That's why I loved the GTPES minimum stints were 45 minutes to an hour.

I know but that's based in real life terms. I'm using SNAIL terms. Most drivers are used to a 12 minute race. No worries, I'm not being a skeptic. I like everything else about this, it's just too long for me.

That's what she said.

Although I won't be racing my vote goes for a 2 hour race. Lot's of planning and strategy goes into that.

Here it is:

  • Please note the difference in Cars for Division 1&2 and Division 3&4
  • D1&2 can change and paint the wheels. Car remains white.
  • D3&4 can paint the car and change/paint the wheels. Please paint with bright colors other than white so we have a clear distinction between the two "classes".
  • I will work on the signup process over the weekend

If we're talking the 'Ring, I will definately make an effort to participate- I love that course.

I'm very interested in this but I don't know my schedule that far out.

Please put me down as tentative...

I have to warn you guys, I'm the Sabine Schmitz of GT6 - except that I'm 6ft, brunette and don't shave my legs. Well, she is German, so lets leave it at 6ft and brunette...
What's the most laps you've ever done in one sitting just for fun?

What's the most laps you've ever done in one sitting just for fun?

In GT5 I did the 24-hour race over a three day weekend. I did it in 2 to 4 hour sessions at a time with some breaks for the bathroom, eat, sleep etc. Can't remember lap time or the amount of laps, but it could have been around 25 laps for the 4-hour session.

I'm not sure, 10-15 maybe.. but there was about two months where I probably did an average of 10 laps a day. It sucks you in because if you screw up a corner- it's 8 minutes before you get to try it again. And no, I never did it in a panel van. I'm also a big fan of Andalucia...

I wanted to do a sign-up form and be fancy about it, but it turns out I need a bit more training to link tables and sheets in the cloudy world. So, keep posting your intent in this thread and I will keep track. In the table below the "Seq" is the sequence of your post in this threat (@nmcp1 was the first post, but I'm taking no 1 spot just because....). I will post an updated table every few days.

Please note that you might be in a different division than now because this event will take place after promotion/relegation at the end of the August Season. So, buy both cars just in case.
