Ok, where are those in the tuning shop!?Or big brakes 😉
I have been there. You get a new rig. Things don’t jive. But they will. Use what I put on the thread and get it right. Then leave it alone. Your mind and body have to reprogram. It’ll take time, but it will be worth it. Whatever you do don’t go back and forth between the two. You’ll only prolong the process. Move forward and don’t look back.Had to cool down a bit after last night before posting. Car was trash and it took everything in me with an uncomfortable sim rig to keep it on the track. Hence why I just let people go by that caught me. Was not in the mood to battle.
Apologies to @MrDonovan I think (red/white BMW) from race 2 in the last corner, you were jumping around for me which made a light tap (for me) seem much worse than it should have been. I didn't expect you to slow that much.
Despite the change and the off and discouraging round, you still managed a respectable finish that still has you plenty in the championship fight. Hang in there....its gonna get interesting to the finish.I have been there. You get a new rig. Things don’t jive. But they will. Use what I put on the thread and get it right. Then leave it alone. If I had known you changed rigs that close to a race I would’ve advised you to stop and wait until after that round. Then by Blue Moon your muscle memory and mind would’ve adjusted.
It’s not the car trust me. It’s your body. Just keep at it. It will come. If you need any help, contact me. Tell what is causing you discomfort and I’ll help you get it right.
I prefer ECU based power reduction versus using the power restrictor because it lowers power & torque across the whole power band, while the restrictor seems to increase low end torque as you reduce power. Makes the car squirmy. That thing is starting to get choked off. The Camaro did us that way. Once we hit the low 630’s. You have more torque than HP I bet. That’s what happens with supercharged and turbo cars. I honestly think next go round with this class we could use a bump to 650pp. Just to keep that minimal. I don’t know that all cars will fit the build at 650 tho.
