Race Event #7 Postponed

To ALL drivers, I have decided to make the executive decision to postpone Event #7.

Due to the low numbers of confirmed drivers, three of our regular attending drivers unable to race this Friday, and the lack of response from the remainder of the roster, Event #7 at Blue Mon Bay Infield A has been postponed 1 week. We will be re-scheduled to race on Friday, October 20th at 9pm est.

We must reach a minimum of 10 drivers confirmed and on the grid for the postponement date. Failure to reach that attendance threshold, the event would then be cancelled and we would move on to Event #8.

Decision Time for all drivers confirmed for this Friday:
We are currently at only 9 drivers confirmed as attending and 3 drivers confirmed as absent with little to no communication from the remainder of the 24 driver roster. I know many have practiced on the lead up to this Friday, but who would be available and willing to move the race date week out to Oct. 20th? Assuming those confirmed are good on that date as well, my hope is that we might be able to pull in Duc, Donovan, and Worstdriver to get up to 12 drivers on grid, and possibly Phlano and 1 or 2 more to round out a stronger grid. Also, this could afford some time for PD to possibly afford a Hot Fix for some of the Lobby issues that have been reported (wishful thinking...I know).

Not necessarily...if we do not reach 10 drivers for this Friday, Event 7 will be cancelled and no change in points going into Event #8. That would mean Event #8 would be the decider if Event #7 is skipped due to lack of attendance. We are currently sitting at 8 drivers confirmed, but I have yet to hear from @Phlano099 , @JDMKING13 , or @MrDonovan which would get us there for a grid, plus any others that hopefully jump in. Thursday at 5pm est is the cutoff for the confirmed grid....if 10 is not reached by then, we move forward.

I get it, but there’s still about 5 contenders with a shot. Take a vote. If it’s voted that we cancel then so be it. But we all know that cup needs to be earned. That means racing. 9 is plenty. Let’s go! Run it.
