I broke exactly the same bone by doing the exact same thing about 8 weeks ago, except I punched a carpeted stair case. The bone snapped clean in two and was poking up against the skin. Nasty business.

It hasn't healed perfectly straight, my Doctor says if I punch anything with any force again it will snap straight away.

@phillkillv2 Is it still painful/immovable? If so go get it x-rayed.
It was carpeted and it still broke your bone?!! lol, weakling! :P

Best be smart the next time you think of punching something, you know. Don't punch. Use your other hand. 👍

It was really soft plush carpet too, must have hit it pretty hard!

Well today was supposed to be a day off from work but I went in to do a training course. Learnt how to drive a PPT (pedestrian pallet truck) the course was meant to be a refresher but no one doing it had done it before. So instead of taking 4 hours it took 7 not all bad news I got paid over time for the full day :D:D

Despite it meaning having a lot of heavy lifting to do, my day would be a lot better if the trees that were supposed to be delivered on Monday would ever show up.

I got a ride in a '66 Dodge Polara, but not as cool as that. Okay, just as cool. :)

It was pretty poor compared to the 1970 Mach 1 I rode in last year, but it was still badass. That car ran nearly 9 flat. The guy said this car wasn't made to go fast, he just wanted a nice cruising car. He said if he wanted to go fast he'd get on his bike.

And MY GOD did that thing ride smooth. Hardly felt a bump. Amazing. The guy dropped the front 2 inches too.

I think a friend of mine is going to buy it. She offered him $8k and I think he's gonna take it.

It doesn't matter what a muscle car is built for, it just has to be a muscle car. ;)

Well, I was damn impressed. The guy was real chill too. Only a few years older than me, he was all for showing it off. He was the guy that kept preaching "that's what it's here for" kinda thing.

Epic night. I was thrilled. All my friends were jealous.

I got in and as we were pulling out we drove by a few of them hanging out and they were like "you lucky SOB "

Anyway, my day was bumpy, but I'm sitting here "restoring" a Mustang Cobra R on GT5. I'm pretty happy now. :)

Had a ride in a friend's Impreza.
It was crazy awesome.

Yesterday was a great day, for many reasons.

Firstly, I went for a 30k bike ride for the first time this year, it felt good to get back to pedaling, I missed it.

Secondly, my girl is away right now, but I got to have a really good discussion with her about things, settle a few issues, and then she made up for it.

Then I hung out with my buddies, and that was a good time.

So all in all, a pretty sweet day, one that I can't complain about at all. Days like those are the best

Found out that a classmate of mine is getting married... at the age of 21.

Well I guess for some folks a simple life is a happy life.

It can work, I mean, if they're both wanting it and willing to do everything to make it all work. Good luck to them

I went swimming with a good friend of mine and it even got better, we met some old classmates from our elementary school time. We just had an awesome day :)

Yeah, I'm sure they can make it work.
TB
I did. There's nothing  about it.
Wow, congrats man. You have a level of maturity which I absolutely do not have. 👍

I just, can't imagine settling down at such an age. There's so many things I've yet to do in life! haha :D

Pretty good. Hung out at my cousin's house all day. Been doing that for the past couple of weeks. Had some good laughs.

I've been driving a lot and blaring 'Anything' by Hedley everywhere I go. Pretty catchy song. The original version throws me off a bit, so I blare the radio edit.

If you see a guy in his car blaring any song and pumping his breaks at the lights in sync with the beat, that fool would be me :P

All in all pretty good day.

I missed school because I overslept, I have also decided it is time to get help with a issue that I learned about last summer, I contacted Radar Programs to see if I can get any help with the big issue, so to sum it all up my day could have been better....

Could be better. (Warning: long post about an ex)

I had school so that was average at best. Then I got home and had a Facebook message from my ex (let's call her "J") now J and I had a good relationship which ended pretty roughly after she started "playing away" so to speak and started spreading rumours about me which hurt a lot.

She messaged me a week ago asking about being friends again saying she was sorry and all, so I agreed to be social. But she was trying to shed blame to me by saying I didn't recognise the fact she was depressed even though it apparently started after she broke up with me. So it was like seeing a needle in a haystack from 10 metres away. Mind games... Always mind games. Like seriously.

So anyway she messaged me today saying she wanted to meet up and just talk so I met her in a cafe. And it lasted half an hour before I walked out.

The gist of it was how she felt sorry but how I pushed her to breaking point because "You always felt there were strings attached" and when I explained that's because I have a low self esteem and she is way out of my league she just smiled a little. Like it was a boost to her ego.

The bad part was when she told me she wanted to get back together. I don't want that, no. I want to take it a lot slower because I can't be bothered with all the dramas attached. When I said this to her, she flipped and said that she was out of my league and I was lucky to even have her speaking to me and I was many other expletives. It fell to a childish case of damsel in distress with me being asked to leave the cafe for "Causing a disturbance." They wouldn't hear my side of the story but consoled her as I was "worthless".

The worst part is she chased me as I was walking towards the garage where my friend works, if only to see the new Jag F-type coupe they had in, and started saying she was sorry and all that. But then proceeded to blame me again.

It felt like one of those cliche movie scenes where I just looked at her and said "You know, I thought you'd changed. Alas..." And walked into the dealership.

Aftermath? I am banned from the cafe for 20-22 weeks or so.

All the talk of whiskey in the Infield "forced" me to drink copious amounts of said liquid at the local pub. Needless to say, I am quite hung-over. Other than that, I've been sitting around watching movies all day. So, it could be worse.

Today was a half bad and half good today for me. I got peed off at the lunch staff at my school because the past two days they've not told me how much money I had when they do so any other day. I had to use the only money in my pocket to pay, which was a 20.

I am finally working in a way that doesn't kill my will to do anything. I am working in the office doing... Stuff? You see, I've gotten the new position, but the thing is. No one really knows what I can do. And that begs the question... What do office workers actually do? I know that office people visit those water containers with the plastic cups a lot for an excuse to do another kind of nothing... But we don't have one, so I popped to the dairy and got a bottle of Cola instead...

Only joking, I actually do work in the office... Though there isn't much going on right now, we have two main sources of work which are rail work and the Ultra Fast Broadband Project, but we finished a particular job on both and for some reason, neither have actually said anything about new jobs starting in a few weeks, so today we had to lay off 8 staff (almost a third of our workers) because we just can't afford to keep them on, which is sad. One of them I know personally outside of work. But if more work comes up, we'll be bringing those guys back when we can afford it again. :D On Tuesday I caught up on three months of data entry in one day (only for one project).

Though just before I went for a small drive (as passenger of course) in an 18 wheeler Kenworth... Which was quite awesome.

Cool day...not what I expected though.

First off, we planned to go to the drag strip, but it got rained out. Normally, they text me, but the text came late. We made it all the way there, pulled in and the guys said it was cancelled. So we were all pretty ticked off. With nothing to do, we thought maybe we'd through some kind of party.

Left, decided to head over to my buddies house. Stopped by, checked out his new '83 Camaro Berlinetta. For $3,500, it was a steal for what it is. Guessing probably 280-300 horsepower at the wheels. For us, it's a handfull. Fired her up, played around under the hood for a minute then decided to take her for a quick spin. It had just rained, so he pulled of his driveway and fishtailed it. Took it to a safe spot, did a few donuts, couple nice pulls and took her back home. Ride's a little rough, but not bad. Certainly feels like a heavy car, despite only weighing in at about 3,000lbs dry.

So we left there, went back to another good friends house and watched the ladies take a swim in their pool while chatting about cars and three wheelers. Ordered some pizza and wings, picked it up and ate, and hung out for a bit before coming home. The girls talked to my mom for about 2 hours about my ex and that girl I like

Fun day. Got to see some people I haven't seen in a bit.

Stayed up since 8 am yesterday

Also have had 8 (low) alcoholic drinks thanks to the Le Mans thread and the damn Ameteur Ferrari drivers.

And been searching all day for a scale model 2013 Alpine Le Mans car. Which could be costly. Also a same scale A110...
