So, who's got all 60 Golds in their licence tests yet?

Just finished my last 10. I enjoyed some of those S-Class ones. The most aggravating thing is that they did not fix some of the issues I had with the license tests in GT4. I understand DQ'ing for hitting another car. What I don't understand is how the AI can Ram into you and YOU get DQ'ed. in S-9, Suzuka, if you draft that stingray in the beginning and then move to overtake him on the right and stay too close to him, he will sway in and hit you and YOU get DQ'd. How does that make any sense?!

Also they never bothered to program the AI to understand that if you are further by half a car length going into a corner to yield the corner or to change their lines? Isn't that a common understanding in any form of racing?!

Stupid IA-7 the rally physics are somewhat weird i keep sliding like i'm on ice even when i'm braking or trying to get grip using the throttle it's really bad, it seems to me that on some parts of Toscana when i was doing my test there were invisible slip zones where you just can't get grip on that part of the track.

Just golded the whole of the s-license, oh my flipping god.

Well much easily compared to previous games since it's no longer time trials, still, long way to go before I gold all the other ones xD

I wish it was still done with time trials.

Races are just too effin frustrating.

So many DQ's for doing next to nothing wrong.

IC-10 can go die.

Add me to the list!

I haven't been spending too much time in GT mode, been learning how to drive with a wheel in arcade mode, but I have gotten my national B licence. I'm just going back now to get all the golds. Challenge 6 is owning me, the challenge on the Nurburgring GP track. Gold is 14.600 seconds. My best time is 14.60 wait for it... wait for it... 3. 14.603 seconds, after about an hour of trying:mad:. I about threw my wheel through my TV. But instead decided it was time to walk away.

I still have 4 golds to get, counting the challenge above. But I'm within a tenth of a second on getting gold on each of the challenges. Its always that last tenth, or couple thousandths in some cases, thats the hardest part.

First Post! Woot!

Gold on all for me. Some of the challenges were frustrating, A-8 was a pain for me. But I found the S license to be the easiest. You'd think they'd be the hardest.

All in all, its a lot of fun and really tests your patience. :banghead:

( Dual Shock 3 only )

I have 40 gold and 20 silver so far. S licence on Gold was a piece of cake : I did all on the first try but Tokyo and Suzuka ( chubby Alfa was sliding all over the place ).
As for the 20 silver, I might get some of them after a few tries, but others seem to be too frustrating. As far as I can remember I'm never off more than few tenths, sometimes even just a few 1/100 sec. Like the Schumacher S licence. I really don't know how to gold that one, although I'm really close I can't see myself in gold time unless a lucky try within a few dozen tries. Tbh, I neither have the time nor the will to do that.

Maybe I'll give it a try later in the game, for now I'll focus on A-spec and special events.

doing some with the wheel and some with the controller. With a Momo only till I get the DFGT I will be using it off and on. I need the 900 degrees rotation.

So far I got through B5. I will be working on them after my 13 hour shift today.

60/60 Gold!!! First time in my life!:) astonishing game... Surprisely S-License was quite easy.

Didn't think I would do them but I did, Dual Shock 3 & Automatic transmission. 👍

Actually it isn't that bad, a lot of us have completed this trial already. Just need to be motivated.👍

Any tips for the S licence? It's really hard as you can't much more than trade paint with the other cars. I get dsq all the time when trying to finish 1st in them, because of my rather aggressive driving style.

The S license was pretty easy, even for the other members that I have read from their feedback. You need to learn the tracks and where to late brake. Take inside corners if you have to, the AI can be a headache from time to time. But you have to tuff it out, esp at S10. I won't spoil it but from what happened on the final lap, was pretty funny.

is the only way to get gold on IC-1 to get it bob on 26.700 ive got it at 26.708 (alot of times very close to that too) but was right on the edge of the stopping section.

Take the brake bias off. I beat it by .050 on the first try after doing that. It's a shame you can modify the license test cars.

Finished S10 for 60 golds this morning and picked up 8 AMG Academy golds in order to level up. I like the Ring but it gets old after a couple hours. Probably give it a rest today.

Simple question.

Is flooring the gas from a standing start and then shifting at whatever speed the car red-lines at in 1st the best possible start? It certainly seems so. Even when the tacho is bouncing off the limiter and the car is still accelerating, it seems to give more acceleration than any type of gradual application.
