Finally did that damn IC-10 last night so now stand at 59 gold and 1 silver. Just the Toyota slalom one to do and just spent the last hour trying it without luck. Got 18.507 2nd try (target is 18.500!!!!) and since then haven't got close. This one may take a while.....

I haven't "golded" them all yet, just B, A, IA, & S. I still need to finish IC and IB. In those two I have a few golds, the rest silver, no bronze. But, I have found the hardest to be not in a license test, but actually the first round of the Grand Tour in the Alfa at Eiger. I spent a ton of time yesterday trying to get gold on that one. I got down to .047 away from gold, and then I couldn't get any closer. I put the game down for a few minutes, then tried again and blew away the gold record by -.300.

I am much better at the game now then I used to be when I first got it, so I think if I start trying the IC and IB licenses I shouldn't have as much trouble as I did originally. When I initially tried the Grand Tour 4 event, the time trial in the Ford Focus, I couldn't even get silver (I attempted it in early December probably). But now, after running against stout competition in online events, I am much better. I tried that same event last night (Grand Tour 4), and just after two tries I got gold by -.700. I hope I am not getting full of myself when I try to gold those remaining license tests!

Just managed to gold them all yesterday. Pic as proof.

Was stuck on the slalom for ages myself Humfer. Not sure what setup your using but I eventually managed it by switching to manual transmission and skipping 3rd gear and going straight into 4th, makes the car much steadier. Could only manage 19.1 with auto after around 250 attempts, got 18.3 within 5 tries after changing to MT. Oh and make sure all assists are off.

I had the best luck by mashing the gas in first gear the moment "Start!" happens (no TCS). I found optimum launch when the revs climbed to around 3500-4000 before it actually gives you power. Get up to third gear as quick as possible. Stay smooth and steady and then really push it hard as you're coming around the third to last cone. You're going to hit the last cone on the left side several times before you get it, but once you're consistent enough to do this regularly, it's just a matter of time before you manage to slip past it while going out of the last cone gate. This will give you the slight speed advantage you need to get gold.

Don't want my PSN or anyone on my friends list publically visible, hope this is acceptable. :)

Finally did the slalom one last night so all 60 now gold!! Probably took 10 times as long as everyone else but got there in the end! Took and picture for proof and will figure out later how I attach it to this forum. Pheww!!

Just finished getting the licences last night, I took my time and just did a licence or two every week. Got all gold, with DS3 and must say it was fairly easy, especially the S licence. There was maybe 1 test in each licence that took a few tries to gold, except for the S license they were a walk in the park.

I gold trophied all of mine about a week ago. The hardest track for me had to be the stupid cone track with the rear wheel drive Toyota concept car. I must have tried that for over 4 hours before I finally figured out the rhythm.

*I got all my trophies with a controller and not a wheel too.
