We all know Thanos, but part of me cannot get over the fact that every time I hear or think, "He did it all to impress death so she would fall in love with him," that I am instantly reminded of The Incredibles. Seriously, is Thanos 14 and has no friends or something?

Well, counting Death (and maybe, and a very, very feint maybe at that) Adam Warlock...so, that's two "friends". Otherwise, no...he's gone to great lengths to either screw over, kill, manipulate, ignore, threaten, or just beat the hell out of everyone he's come across. He's like Marvel's Darkseid.

Does Loki count?

hahaha, this was awesome.

I think that, as genre-defining (superhero: never does any bad things and is always there for citizenry to help and will always sacrifice his life for the seek of justice and eats his veggies and all that trash), Superman would be the best superhero ever. But that is precisely what makes him so lame, too.

I'd go with Cyclops!!! He's such a dream, isn't he???

bleh. Wolverine. I've always liked his style and the fact that most stuff about him is pretty misterious.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Doctor Strange, or even Hercules (even though I really can't stand that big-headed dumbass). Anyone who can stand their own against Thor and even Odin for that matter deserves a mention nonetheless. Doctor Strange, is well, Doctor Strange what more of a mention do you need? He was given a mention by Eternity for crying out loud.

Doctor Strange doesn't have a fanbase like Ironman etc etc. A famous doctor believing in another thing at one point then shown something fictional that comes true in another.

I still say Batman is my favourite and the best of them all.
Just look at the others. Take away their superpowers, and what do you have? No web-slinging for Spidey; no flying, indestructibility, x-ray vision etc for Superman.
Batman didn't acually have any superpowers, so he wins. End off.

But is it that outfit or the man that makes Batman? They had issues for the Cowl ( Battle of the Cowl)

You should really give a better explanation as to why you think Batman is the be all, end all. As opposed to a response that resembles at 1994 X-Men cover "He wins. 'Nuff said." For example, even if you didn't take away their abilities, Batman still has each of the scouted and is prepared for the worse should anything ever happen to them - he has (or rather had) contingency plans for Superman, Flash, Wonder Woman, Martian Manhunter, etc, etc. Basically anyone whom he works with on a constant (or constant enough) basis he's usually prepared to take them down should he really need to. Hell, he was even prepared for Darkseid.

Now, can any of these individuals rip Bruce from limb to limb? Absolutely, I mean one of 'em is an Amazon whose beat the everliving hell out of Superman on a number of occasions, one of them could spiral him right into space, and well, you get the point.

Bane could easily rip apart Batman.

Well, to be fair Bane did beat the snot out of him and broke his back, and arm I believe. That's where Jean Paul comes in...

Violent (and ruthless), in fact, moreso than Bane was himself. He would have killed him had he not considered the fact Batman doesn't kill people.

IBatman didn't acually have any superpowers,
Nope, he's just a brooding emo kid with too much money who could do with a little therapy.

But by your definition, then I say Iron Man is ten times better. He doesn't have any of the "Wah, my mommy and daddy are dead" issues motivating him and he does all of it with severe damage to his heart and didn't need to take years studying fighting skills to do what he does.

Bane could easily rip apart Batman.
At least break his back.

Here's an example of how Batman is the best: Batman beats Darkseid and even Darkseid admits defeat while on Apokolips. Darkseid says that Batman is able to achieve victory because he puts everything at stake, including laying his life and the lives of his friends on the line. This is after he rigged all the fuel for Darkseid's boomtubes and things to explode all at once. "Impossible! They were encrypted!" Haxxorz.

That's what happens when your emo.

Did anyone catch Stan Lee's Superhumans (History Channel)? They just showed a Samurai dude slice a BB Pellet in half fired onto him from about 100 feet away. Impressive stuff.

All that have mentioned are good, But noone and i mean noone can beat Vageta!!!

You mean other than Goku, Broly, and every (and I do mean every) saga-based villain in Z and GT (Yes, including the 13 Z movies) because he's either not strong enough, or let's his pride get in the way? Other than that, you're absolutely right....almost.

yeah i know, i dont know why they so that with him. I remember an episode where Vegeta was shown to be the strongest Saiyan in the Universe. Didnt Majin Vegeta beat goku?

there were alot that Goku couldnt beat either! Only when Goku and Vegeta combined were they strong enough

Technically, no. Goku held back from going SSJ3 (for a very good reason, but held back nonetheless) so for the most part, considering the circumstances - yes and no. As far as why Vegeta was used as a scapegoat 9/10 tmes, that's all Toriyama right there. Vegeta was his favorite character, so everything that happened to him was "tough love". Those were his exact words as well.

Probably at a time, Vegeta was the strongest in the world. ( Goku made brolly annoyed because Goku was crying) Though he achieve SSJ3 with the help of Bulma but I think that it was just pride since Goku reached it first and didn't tell him about it. Hell, they even have eating contests.

Yeah i Love Vageta as well, so whenever something bad happened to him, I would get mad and wished it upon Goku, since his life seemed so easy and he always succeded at things while Vegeta fought this way to the top.

Yeah i noticed how much Vegeta puts his pride. He even said it when Majin Took over his mind.

I don't remember how the anime portrayed it, but unlike everyone else that seemed to have been easily manipulated by the powers that come along with being a "Maijin", Vegeta was the only person it had absolutely no effect on whatsoever. Everything he was "ordered" to do he did so because he wanted to, he lusts after power and saw the opportunity as a fulfilling one, and considering him and Goku were nearly even in SSJ2(I honestly forget which of them was more powerful) ...
