Yeah. There's a standard and premium model of this car in the official car list too

I have never seen a standard f2007 you sure its in there?

Edit: just checked the official list sure enough its there. Does this mean it needs to be imported from psp to get it?

I got a F2007 from a ticket. I didn't know there was a standard version too. How many cars did you get from GT PSP by importing it?
Haven't owned a psp in years so I never got to try this. But my buddy's did at his house. But i never asked him that. So i don't know

I have no idea how to get it. I was tempted to duplicate a couple level 24 tickets to see if it was possible to get it from them but never got around to it. Maybe there's a way to get it from the ps3 i don't know though

You cam only use the PSP versions in arcade, the poster who said you could use them online is incorrect. The only standard versions of premiums you will ever see in GT Mode or Online are those that PD have made available, or someone has hacked into usability.

As for the photo of the standard 787B, it could've come from an arcade mode replay or (much more likely IMHO) is a shot from GT4. Looking at it again, i swear that photo was taken on midfield raceway too...

Edit: looking once more, that logo in the top right is the camera selection one from GT5... I call arcade mode replay or poster's friend is a hacker.

If you own every single model present in GT PSP, then you can transfer ALL of them (except for the FPV and the M5 Concept).

If you find a premium car in GT5 that is present in GT PSP, that means there's a standard model of it too.

However, you can only select 100 cars at the time to transfer. Think of it as your top 100. If you change your mind, you can always redo the list.

Last I remember, when you go online, there is an option to select your favourites, which, if you selected you PSP cars as favourites, can race them online.

Does the Standard one have a Martini logo on it?

How do you add them to favorites exactly? I just tried going through the PSP menu on GT5 and from arcade mode, but there doesn't seem to be an add to favourites option anywhere...

Sorry for the derail everybody but i'm really curious to know...

Good question I dont think the premium one does.

I just checked and the premium F2007s all have the Allice logo there but the Martini logo is not. It's like they enlarged the Allice an Bridgestone logo's while making the car premium... Another thing I'm noticing is that the standard in that photo doesn't feature the large 'T' section above the air intake.

TBH, it's been a while since I've played GT5. I'll have to check. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty certain that was the process.
You can't race with them in GT-Mode, that was certain, but I could have sworn you could with online.

Anyway, I don't want to derail the topic any more than it is. SORG, as everyone else here has said, well done mate!
I look forward to seeing what else you find. As with most people on here, the tuning is the most interesting to me. Was interested in the Standard-Premium conversions long before, in hope that I could one day see a premium GTO like my own, but I can indulge in other games if I want fancy cockpit views.

I'd say you probably could use your knowledge for Hybriding, as previously mentioned, which would be cool as I've always loved Hybriding in GT2 (on my CFW PSP) and GT4 on PS2, just to add that extra game play and fun into the game once finished. I'm not sure how it could be done in GT5, nor do I think it would even be a good thing, but keep up the good work mate, you've got me excited about the game all over again. :)

For those people who keep going on about how "DLC is already on the disc!" and "We are getting ripped off by paying for DLC", I'd say yes and no. Maybe there are SOME DLC that is already on disc, and just requires unlocks. Evidence of this would be when it is only 100kb in size :P but also, what is to say that those DLC weren't implented in a previous patch? I remember when the first DLC was released, the patch before that was enormous! The DLC's weren't. Easy to speculate that the DLC was on the "FREE" patch and you just needed to pay to unlock them. I think that's pretty fair.
However, remember a little while back, there was a spy photo of the BRZ being designed in the PD studio? Why would they have the model up on a screen and be working on it if it was already in game? I find that very unlikely to be "on the disk" especially since when GT5 first came out, BRZ/86/FRS, were all merely concept cars with one look : The FT86 Concept.
Again, there might be features such as the tuning side of things, which clearly are on the disc, as proven by our good man SORG, but we have no direct access to the features. Maybe, just maybe, PD haven't sorted it all out properly. Maybe, because the game was rushed to be released, they didn't get to finish it all and released the game as it was, but left the WIP on those features, so when they do release a patch in the future to rectify those features, all they need to do is put out a patch with those updates to unlock the working versions?

I got no idea about video game programming, nor do I know anything about what PD's intentions are, but I'm sure that if there is evidence of stuff like this on the disc, they have their reasons behind it.

Let us see what will be released if it will be released. The members on this forum blew the doors off of the veil of the C7 Camo so let us see the result of these new discovered hidden gems from "Sorg".

Those were my two cents, pents, shillings, marks, whatever currency applies the members local who reads this reply.

i would dump currency but like most governments i am in the hole bank account wise.

I am hopeful of a wonderful DLC gift package this month but will not be disappointed if we do not

I will take 2 sides of back on topic hehe
Sorg, next time you post you should make a new topic and when ever you find something new, just edit the first post then make a post saying "Update! Read first post," or something like that.

Alright, back on topic. My thoughts on this..

Since sorg has "uncovered" this, I'm just gonna say that Prolouge is the "demo" to GT5, and GT5 is the "demo" to GT6. Even though we may get a Spec III update within the next couple of months, I don't know if these things will be implemented. I mean, why wait so late in the game's life to add these things that the community wanted from the jump.

So, while I would like these things to be in GT5--which would breathe SO much life back into the game..my opinion--I'm not gonna set myself up to be disappointed. I'll just wait for GT6.

I see it like this...
GT1 and GT2 was on PS1. Wasn't GT2 better?
GT3 and GT4 was on PS2. Was GT4 better? In my opinion..
GT5 and GT6(hopefully) on PS3. I'm assuming GT6 will be better.

The odd numbers are like the "betas" to the actual product, the even numbered Gran Turismos..

Does the Standard one have a Martini logo on it?

The Ferrari F2007 first debut was in GT5 Prologue. And there, the martini logo is indeed present. The model found in GT PSP is basically the same car, so, when transferring it from GT PSP to GT5, that logo was never removed.

This thread is going off topic for some time now...

I don't see a martini logo here.

👍 I agree.
And yes this topic has been off topic for quite a while :P

GT6 is more than likely going to be on PS4.

GT6 is more than likely going to be on PS4.

I am actually 50/50 on this...until E3 2013 I still have faith we are going to see it on PS3... but, we can only wait and see.

Btw, sorg, anything new? :-)

Just be sure to keep an eye open for news of updates about to happen. If there's one coming you'll have to either finish any race you start first or else stay offline until you finish.

Of course, and should any update happen soon, we'll know soon enough. Let's see if Chrimbo brings us something little or large...
Thanks for the reminder though!

GT6 is more than likely going to be on PS4.

Well, if Kaz sticks by what he said, no. Remember his comment about GT6 having a better chance of being on PS3 due to the groundwork done and the basics now covered by GT5?
I guess it will depend on him wanting to develop GT5 til such a point. Let's face it, any new Sony console is probably some way off, and then starting from scratch with a development kit and all that will prove time consuming as per.
And I don't think we'll see a machine til 4k resolution screens start hitting the shops as a more commercially available piece of hardware, we've seen monitors with 2560x1600 resolution out there for a while, so things like that will need considering for next gen machines. And of course, people will want games to match.

Personally, I don't want to see another GT game as long as Kaz wants to develop GT5, and with the point of this thread taken into consideration - would people be happy with these things, maybe a few more cars and some more tracks to play with? I would!
But that'll come down to having the hard drive space available for some, if such sizeable future updates such as Spec 2.0 carry on bringing us what we would like...

But all that is just my opinion!

Imprezza Premium Rally car 99 is NOT on GTHD, I have it and have just checked.

If people think GT6 will be on PS3 they are going to be very dissapointed!

It will be a PS Orbis release/close to release title to sell systems and get a user base going.
Sony do not want another PS3 fiasco.

He also said that he didn't know which console GT6 was going to be on and that PD always aim for the latest technology. He says a lot of things.

Let's face it, any new Sony console is probably some way off, and then starting from scratch with a development kit and all that will prove time consuming as per.

The PS4 is 99.9% sure to be revealed at E3 in June and probably released in time for Christmas next year. As for dev kits PD will have had them for a long time, longer than any other developer since they're first party. As for starting from scratch Kaz said the most time consuming part of making GT5 (60% of the entire time) was modelling the cars. So nothing has changed in that and would be the same whether makijng a PS3 or PS4 game.

4k gaming is not coming in the next generation consoles, the hardware is not available cheaply enough and they aren't going to wait another four+ years until it is. They had to start building the machine a long time ago. They may output 4k video but 4k games, not a chance. Not unless you want them to cost $1000+ USD.

Personally, I don't want to see another GT game as long as Kaz wants todevelop GT5, and with the point of this thread taken into consideration - would people be happy with these things, maybe a few more cars and some more tracks to play with? I would!

No, I wouldn't. GT5 is dead, a few more cars or one or two tracks isn't going to re-ignite it for me.
