Yeah, that's sad enough indeed. As of now, the game has not that much to offer compared to its competitors. We'll wait and see what happens.

I believe LG’s Game Mode HDR is bugged or they intentionally made it dimmer. In any case LG themselves suggest Dynamic Contrast for a brighter picture in Game Mode, I’m hoping they can patch it to make it better though. If not I can keep the Dynamic Contrast, it looks great with that on.Yeah it does look really great with HDR, already seen it in the closed beta but it's gotten so much better in this version now. But if you have your TV and PS4 set correctly you shouldn't need dynamic contrast to get a better image, so you may want to take a look at that.I had the same thing, where I needed dynamic contrast but some settings on my PS4 were not right. Looks best for me now without dynamic contrast while game mode is on. Check your video output information, if it says anything other than YUV422(HDR) while having the demo open then it's not set correctly.

Anyone else, can you connect to the server? Currently down for me, but it’s meant to be right? Since it doesn’t actually start until the 9th. Just wanna make sure I got this right.

Little brother property now, and it will be FIFA 24/7. (In his opinion, GT is the most boring game and can't understand why it's my favorite franchise. Interesting because he was too young during the golden era of GT on PS1/PS2.)

You should check rtings.com and look to see if they tested your particular set, they test game modes and give you good details on TV performance like input lag and such and which TV has best performance in categories that you'll really want to know and sometimes if the TV has optimal settings they'll also include those for you to input on your own set. Won't hurt to give it a shot if you really want to maximize your viewing experience. They don't have every TV tested but they do have quite up a few up right now, so feel free to check them out.

Yup, seems like everyone is getting a rally car. I got the Peugeot RCZ Group B rally car.
The game looks amazing!!! And it is not just the scapes; the demo has loads actual races where one can watch the AI in replay mode. It is non-interactive, but with the real graphics engine.
PCars2 looks last-gen compared to this. GTS's HDR and general lighting effects are very impressive.

NY here I guess it was 8AM PT, which means 11AM EST for me. I cannot wait for this to finally grace my Pro.
It's good to see that PD included ability to deal with dark areas and light areas, more games should come with these types of options, these videos shows that the people at PD were hard at work on this game. I will play the crap out of it, because of what I experienced in the Beta shows me that there is a direction that includes putting all the decent players in one place based on skill(what's not to love about that). I wonder if the Beta players DR/SR data carries over since it was online, I wouldn't mind having my rating carry back over to this so we can jump right into the same skill classes we already qualified for previously.

Theoretically I could download 43GB in less than 30 minutes... but my PS4 rarely goes faster than 180Mbps
