Forza looks better during gameplay , at least the enviroments . Car models and lightning are better in GT but overall Forza is the winner . However GT Sport improved massively in the sounds department while FM7 cars sound worse than FM4 .
What GT Sport seems to lack is tracks , it's unaccetable that SMS with less budget can double the track count compared to Kaz games .
Yeah, totally agree on tracks. I've always supported Kaz and the studio, but I'm quite worried for the future with this title. It seems that many long-term fans have been worried about things that either aren't in GTS (stuff removed from prev versions), or, is included but really as a bare feature/experience.
Tracks was the deal breaker for me. I want to believe that Kaz knows that the content (cars and tracks) is not large enough to keep racing purists 100% happy. It doesn't help me when I see him in interviews, and he doesn't actually answer a question directed at him lol. I don't use games in any other genres, so cars and tracks is the only thing that stops boredom over time. I will not commit to GTS, until there has been an official announcement. But, even that being said, I want action and not words. The promise of a feature or expansion won't cut it for me any longer. I'll wait until track content is being created and launched. As GTS stands, I'd be bored within 3 months of GTS, due to its small day one state. Tracks are the key to open up the whole experience for me personally.
With much work done on so different areas of the game to make it a complete experience for everyone (scapes, e-sports, livery editor, etc), it appears content suffered as a result. Which, for a driving game, I think is far from ideal. Some ppl feel that P.D don't listen much to its fan-base. But, with so many ppl walking away from the franchise over the years, maybe sales revenue will help times change. I think they're more likely to notice a lack of $ and act, compared to voices. The sad part about ppl leaving after GT4, is that lobbies in GTS are going to be less full of really passionate ppl. That's not good for GT as a franchise.
Hopefully we'll get (those who want it) great news on future dlc in the not too distant future. It's nowhere near large enough as it stands. When you view GTP resources for track content on the last couple of titles, it reinforces my own views to me.
Enjoy the demo peeps
