My 2 cents:
- first minutes in game and oh boy! It felt like home. Haven't played a GT game in a while and then the first 30minutes were a blast! The soft jazz in the background while browsing around the menus, the horn sound when a race start, the random prize car wheel, the pleasure of first checking every car dealer... all made a great drive down the memory lane. So many memories playing this game for so many years...
- now the game itself: the visuals are gorgeous, the sound I think is better than GT6, but still GTish (just like somebody mentioned), and it seems one may get countless hours messing around with the scapes, replay modes, livery editing let alone the racing itself.
The down part: racing online felt exciting at first, untill some other driver hit you in the first corner mayhem we all know there's in multiplayer. Having to be online for everything suck big time. The ups and downs from the serves are a pain in the a**. I do know it's a beta and one of the purposes of it, it's to test the servers. But still, it sucks big time. Also having to wait for a race to start is no good. Again, I understand that's how matchmaking works, but it may come a moment when doing warm up laps before a race is gonna get boring.
Got see how can we live with the sport mode instead of the good old campaign mode.
