Sony Xperia Z3 Compact

Ignore the scratches, the light colour blotches seem to appear at random locations on the lens.

The photos look perfect though.

Yeah, that's because that's apparently a separate plastic piece glued on to the camera instead of just being part of the main glass sheet (this was apparently something Sony changed to with the Z3 series, then changed back to the glass sheet with the Z3+). People on xda were complaining about it a month or two ago, but if your phone has no problems with pictures I'd say just ignore it.

So the blotches on the cam got a lot worse, and now I notice a lot of light bleeds into the camera. I contacted sony and they told me it would take around a month to fix. Don't know if I want to be without a phone so long to be honest. Any suggestions quick fixes?

I will look into it and then tell sony that the unit is not of merchantable quality.
They Sony support guy said they will have it and look at it for 14 days (not including shipping- which takes around a week in total in Canada). If it is serviceable (I don't really know how they come to that conclusion) they will repair it, if not I will have spent around a month with no phone for no reason. I mean last time they said that they repaired my phone and i was quite happy- even though it took forever.
