The cars are down around 50 PS in comparison with the standard versions (after oil change.) They are not unlocked in the arcade mode…so hold on to them.

Hey Samberto, can you tell me the prices for all 4 cars in "Chinese currency", so I can make some moves towards collecting the K on time?

When U say "unlocked", that means "opened up in Used Car garage", or something else?

Thanks in advance.

I don't want to look at the pictures before I actually buy them, so could you please tell me the prices? I don't want to get there with less than enough money...

Nissan R92CP and Mazda 787B are 122,499,900 or 1,224,999 in US and Pal versions.
Nissan R390GT1 is 225,000,000 or 2,250,000 in US and Pal copies.
Toyota GT-One is 292,499,900 or 2,924,999 in US and Pal versions.

Figures for Japanese version updated in the previous post.

I you had the Cr which you could if you did enough endurance races then you could have them twice over (if you can buy them more than once each).

One thing is sure, If I catch one of them in the used car lot and I'm short of credits, I'll be having a major Garage Sale!

On that topic, I'll be very picky about which cars I purchase. In GT3 I rarely bought any cars anyway so I don't think I'll be too out of cash to handle picking up an occational rarity like these bad boys.

there's also another picture of the bmw v12 lmr, the race liveried r390 and the black 787b all side by side down mulsanne straight with a fuzzy shot of the 2003 courage in the background due to heat-haze. its in the "Proud owner of GT4" thread somewhere...

Thanks Maskrider for updating the used cars, I now realise that it isn't missing many cars at all after seeing the ones in used galleries. How many cars have you unlocked so far approximately?

I haven't counted yet, checking the new list against the old one already needs a lot of time, ha ha !

If the cycle theory on the used car lists was true, all the used cars were already included since I had passed the end of the first cycle if so.

Unlocked=purchased. To work out the currency difference in the future, simply subtract two zeros from the yen. Incidentally, I started a new game to get the cars as I was well past 1000 days. My task was complete within 8 hours…

Wow ! How to do it that fast ? I know buying/selling cars pass a day, joining then exiting a race will also pass a day, but still need to press the buttons a lot of times to get through that.

How to get the secret vehicles from a new game.

Quickly undertake B and A licence.
Purchase NOS for the Pontiac that you won from the A licence.
Enter the second special condition race: Costa di Amalfi (2 laps forward/2 laps backward)
Now select the RSC rally car that you won and do the same race again
Sell the second RSC and repeat the process ($265,000 for four laps)
Buy a wheel of the day repeatedly to make the days go by.

The secret cars appear at 696 days…don’t miss them whilst mindlessly tapping on wheel change.

Samberto

Edit: if you have three memory cards (or a method of putting saves on your hard drive), save the game at day 696 on two cards. This will allow you to purchase one car at a time. I then traded the cars to my original game(where I had ample cash)

Lol, Special Condition Hall at the Hard Level gives you 4,000.000 for 10 Laps! :sly:

Hadn't tried buying a wheel to see if it pass a day, ha ha ! :)

I simply used AR codes for money to buy them all on the first 696 day.

Which race? Yen or dollars? Sweet Ride? The RSC sells for 26,500, 000 yen.
Also, your method would require more time for doing higher level licences.

Hmm, codes already...

There's only one GT4 out right now and If a car Costs 10 and you win 10 then guess what have to pay for the car???

The Race is the Special Condition Hall/Rally Costa ai Amalfi on the Hard Level, It only requires an ia License...

That sort of color is unmistakable. Them's carbon fibre, you hear?

This is nothing short of interesting. Some people are like "test cars are realy useless." I guess they serve a little purpose. After all, you have the car in its unpainted and perhaps unmodified form. Then, they just all look so cool. My only thing is, I've been so accustomed to seeing a red Toyota GT-One. So an unpainted Toyota GT-One is actually kind of cool. Racing for 696 days sounds like a whole lot of work. In fact, I can't remember the maximum number of days I raced in a GT game. For a game this big and this diverse, it makes you want to do everything at one time. You know, it's like going to Disneyland, except that GT4 is more interesting.

696 days. That's at least two years in the game! But hey, anything to have those beauties in their unpainted form. It's not the first game I played that had test cars. In fact, the only other game I played with test cars was a demo of NASCAR Thunder 2004.

My method:
The RSC sells for $265,000+$10,000 for the two races.
At four laps that equals $69,000 per lap. (6,900,000 yen)

Your method:
The RS200 sells for 265,000 + 40,000 for the two races.
At ten laps that equals $30,000 per lap. (3,000,000 yen)

One must also take into account the extra time to do both the iB and iA.

Hm.. my brain just got washed out today since some kids broke into my car to steal a 200$ stereo and made me another 500$ damage to interior, so please, can you just make a quick elaboration of "3 cards" process because I'm not capable of thinkin right now?

Thanks in adv.
