Speculation on GT Driver's Club

What do you think the newly announced GT Driver's Club will be? The message says exclusive race events with unique requirements and special prizes. I hope they are new endurance races or something like that. Maybe an hour or two in length but with car and tuning restrictions. Post your ideas.

I posted pic in OP, I just hope it is actual races and not time trials even though I enjoy TT. This is why GT5 is my favorite GT game, they can keep expanding it.

I assume that's from the seasonal events news update section? Strange, its not worded like that for me (uk).

Mine says:

"Make sure to keep an eye out for extra special events not included in the periodic updates! These will be notified sepetately in our news section."

Doesn't say anything about GT Drivers Club.

It is in the news/notifications page when you start up the game for me. I'm running the NA version of the game.

I would assume both our messages are speaking about the drivers club, UK's is just less specific. Extra special races and drivers club are probably the same.

Hopefully, at least, because it's never fun when they keep content from different regions.

I think it's going to be like the original seasonal events with the restrictions in place. Also sounds like the reward money will be better and possibly have car prizes. All speculation, of course.

I'm most intrigued by the word "exclusive". What do you suppose will be required to qualify; minimum A-Spec level or something like that. Though the Ferrari formula 1 cars would make it exclusive with a $10 million + msrp.

I think it will be just like the first seasonal, but maybe they include assists limitations, and give cars as prize. Don't know how it will be, but i'm incredibly excited.

I really hope it's general. Not region specific.

That way not everyone can enjoy what they offer extra in the game....

Would be great though to have "seasonal style" races with restriction and larger prizes. This way the casual and hardcore gamer have fun in the events.

Now the seasonals are only really challenging if you DOWNGRADE some cars.... weird thinking by PD

It'll probably be specific online races like in gt5p with restrictions etc. Hopefully big xp, CR and rare goodies as prizes.
