Thanks NTX! Well as I said I didn't mean to make the panel this big I did it by accident the next panel should be more smaller (but with even better shots in it)So I see U are ready to open a Aston Martin stand
Quite good Speed!! I like specially the 1st one, WOW!!
U did also a good work on the panel, I like to see U make them big.
Well done Speed![]()
Thanks [es]! Yeah the driver in the pictures 1 & 3 is the ghost driver out of the S2000 update I did ages ago[empty space];2655261interesting:
pictures 1 & 3 - im not a huge fan of frontal blurs like that, but, beyond that ... whose driving the car?
picture 2 - the backround, nose, and hood look almost like oil paintings, but, the side of the car is crisp and sharp. odd contradiction?
picture 4 - this is my favorite one, it also seems like the simplst one. i also like the desaturated back round and colourfull car. 👍
Thanks Freddy! The DB7 although a boring angle I thought it really spoke about eleglance. Thanks again! The first one is nicely done. I like the blur (it looks like painted on). Also the other 2 shots are really good. The best imo is the db7. Really nice colours and good tones.
Cheers
Thanks Krame!I really like the second and third shot.
Thanks Moglet for your long reply! Glad you liked the V12 and V8 shots. I know the DB7 shot is a bit.....plain but I just liked the angle of the shot I didn't know that it was almost the same place as when you started as I had tried many diffrent places before I went there. I will try your advice as well, thanks Moglet again! The V8 Vantage looks really brutal, I love the intense lighting in the background too.
The DB7 shot is nice enough but IMO it looks a little bit plain. It has barely been moved from the location it starts in when you visit that phototravel area and I think it could have been a bit more special.
Your V12 Vanquish shot is brilliant, it's very simple just like the V8 Vantage photograph but it's a bit lighter and more 'airy' and it really works well with that car.
The DB9 coupe shot is very effective in selective colour and the angle is quite cool too.
The only little bit of advice I have is to decrease the aperture when taking shots that are going to end up blurred. The V12 Vanquish is a good example of this, the roof and wingmirrors on the car look quite blurred due to the wide aperture selection (f/1.4 from the looks of it...). Try ramping that up to f22 or whatever the maximum value is in GT4. 👍
Thanks jeremyray! Glad you liked them!God job Speed for your Aston Collections, my favorite shot is the 2nd and 3rd it looks like realthe 1st shot looks extreme for me, and i don't know about the last shot but i like the reflection

Opps I forgot to get rid of that.....but thanks!Good update, speedster.
The V8 Vantage has some nice colours all over the image, I like it. But the blurring is somewhat weird, it seems you used the same technique as in your previous update where you applied a median and blurred without adding noise on the road. Basically, it washes out the scenery, which can be a good thing if you're aiming for a more artistic and oil paint-like image.
Yeah it is a bit static. The DB7 looks good, could have it's wheels turned a few degrees to give it a less static look, but it's good.
I will try that next time I go phototravelling. Thanks though for the comment. The same applies to the DB9, sometimes even 10 degrees of angle (it doesn't have to be 30 everytime, that ends up looking bad half the times, at least for me) do the trick. But on this one you went for a more original angle and the desaturated background, and that makes it stand out more.
I will do next time I go doinf something like that. Thanks though! I will ttry them techniques and tips you gave me. Thanks again. The Vanquish has that problem that Mog mentioned (everytime you're shooting - either track or phototravel - for a shot that will be blurred, make sure that the car is entirely focused), but otherwise it's great. I see you added the noise on this one, the tarmac looks instantly better after blurred.I like the overall tone of this image, despite having some big dark areas, because the lighter tones make it soft.
Thanks Menown! The front is the buisness end of all Aston'sI love the shot of the vantage, and the angle of the DB9 is great. I would never have thought to take a shot on that angle as the front of the Astons is where I see all the 'action'
Thanks and the low ride height was caused of very hard braking I just found it as a intresting angle for a shot. Thanks again for your comment.I like the DB9 and the blurr is awesome, and the DB7 is hot man ! very low rideand the vanquish is fantastic i really love the color.
Which one?Is that real???I love that picture you just made, I really wonder if it's real.

Thanks TunRVisioN! What brings you to these parts of GTP I don't usually see you around here?Any one of them? They all look real.![]()
Thanks TuneRVisioN! Glad to know you like my gallery!I've been seeing some good photo's lately, and my PC is cluttered with photo's from here lately, and seeing this gallery is making my computer have less and less space.I am enjoying some galleries, and this is one of them. Keep up the good work. 👍
[empty space];2658282not bad, but, im just like you that i still need to practice my texture clean up ... after color editing ends, thats where my enjoyment ends.
for instance, on the db9 the body work has been smudged onto the rear wheel well and the passenger front tyre looks ... erm ... flat. on the orange one, did you add photoshop blur on top of gt4 blur? all of the car execpt the front left is sharp which gives that appearance. have you tryed the multi-picture/layered way?
Thanks Menown I will try that next time. The 4th shot is my fave, I cant really find a single fault with it, the photo with the blured dunlop bridge is also great. The only comment I can think of is I am getting some slightly gagged line when I view them on my computer, I always try anti-alias them with the photoshops blur tool.
Thats alright Loon. Thanks very much for your comment on the photos glad you liked the V8 Vantage.Sorry I took so long to get here. These shots look good man. The vantage i smy fav, the reflections are awesome. An the rest look photorealistic.👍
Oh I will definately check that out then maybe even take some shots of it in action for you. Thanks again.NICE!!
PS my aston martin DB9 setup is in my garage![]()
Thanks very much Krame for dropping by that last one is my favourite as well.Very nice shots. The last one is particularly good, the car and background look perfect together and the front end is really sharp.
Thanks FaLLeNAn9el. Glad you liked my shots! The first one is really really smooth, I like it.
The blurring on the 2nd and 3rd one is just crazy!
The front end on the last one is very very suave. Keep em comin' man!![]()
Thanks Menown! The front is the buisness end of all Aston's

Right then, Aston Martin Part 2 "Lets Hit The Track". This update was inspired by recent's evets manily concerning Aston Martin and it's brand new owner. I have been planning this update for several weeks now and I have really enjoyed creating the images. I did what seemed like thousands photo shoots at thousands of different tracks to find the right mood for each particular Aston as they all have different characterisitcs. Out of this update I was really pleased with the Aston Martin Vanquish shots form both parts of this update as well as the DB9 shots. I am really sorry for the such long a long reply but I had to do something while Imageshack was loading them up...enjoy!

Well thanks for the positive side of that comment. How would you resize the images? And I will try that later.3rd shot isn't really working for me, seems the car is not focused.
When you're taking these shots (shots for use with either motion or radial blur), you have to make sure there's no blur anywhere, both car and scenery have to be still (highest shutter speed as possible), so all is sharp and perfect for the post-production.
They lose a lot of their appeal if especially the car is partially blurred or out of focus.
Also, since you're using the median filter to clean, make sure it doesn't affect any of the car's lines or details, or the car will appear all muddy and liveness, since the sharpness will be gone.
Apart from what I said, I like all the other shots, good angles and good blur.
On the DB7 shot (best of the bunch for me), since the centre of the blur is visible, try erasing it in a fading pattern, so that the closes to the centre, the less blurred it will be, that way it will look far more realistic, since obects that are at a greater distance don't appaer to be moving at the same speed as objects near the viewer. It's a matter of practice, really.
And try to resize the shots, they're all bigger than my monitor and it makes it hard to "get the full picture". 👍
Thanks Ray! I don't see why you think these are amazing your are way better than this! I got inspiration from you though.....Thanks again!Damn man you're making me addicted to astons with those shots, i love em! Especially the last.
These shots are very inspirational!
Seems to be that way at the momentquite good mate!! U are doing a very interesting Aston Martin "gallery".
I specially like the Vanquish shot, great shot!!!!
The panel is quite original...U did well
Keep up Speed!!!
