Love the presentation, the F1 car was a very nice touch IMO. I dunno about the noisy-look on the Polo shot though. Prius shot looks quite real aswell, apart from the fact that I doubt it could go fast enough for the background to be THAT blurred

Thanks Dell! That F1 Car is only there as it was one of the things that actually bought up the idea for me to do a Green Update. I completely agree with the Prius comment! Thanks for commenting.

You're a brave man for making this update, but it's a very original concept 👍 It's also a really excellent way of highlighting the way that the creators of Gran Turismo have purposely included next-generation vehicles which highlight alternative fuels. Regardless of one's views on the automotive industry's impact on the environment, it is a credit to KY and PD that they are in touch with the latest technological advances with regards to alternative fuel.

Wow, didn't expect this! A moderator checking out my gallery....thats kind of scary. I never noticed that bit before. But it is a very good point although I think that there should have been more alternative fuels on the game such as more diesel cars, one is not enough. On the shots themselves, I like the Prius (did you use GT4 spinning wheels or did you blur them yourself? They looks great, apart the front wheel being a bit too stretched towards the ground). I like the zoom blur and the car's reflections.

The rear lights on the 120D look really good too, and I also like the hydrogen shot, it's very cool.

Too bad not more people commented on this one (hell, I almost missed it myself), but your merit stands.

Thanks so much for dropping by Beerzy! I have pretty much begging for people to check it out! Glad the presentation looks good for you, also thanks for the plus rep you have given for that update. Onto the actual shots, with the Prius I actually blurred them manually using radial blur on them, as the location is phototravel, I notice that the front wheel is a bit stretched too. The reflections and the blur was what made me include that picture instead of another one I could have used. I don't know how the 120D lights can look so good when I did nothing to them......

I prefer the first shot more then the others, because it looks like you put more work into it then the others. However I do not like how you presented the update, because different sections don't go together well because of there sizes and there positions.

I personally don't know when my next update is going to be, the weather is getting nicer I find I am not on the forum as much as I used to be at the minute, I will post another update but I am not "inspired" at the moment. So the Z was yours eh? For a moment, I thought it was Moglet's because it reminded me of his R32 GT-R entry in the previous tourney...


Anyway, I like that blur a lot and the car seems very clean to me. It's on the dark side though, you may want to trow a little bit more brightness in it...Anyway, sad to see you out of the Tourney already, I'm dissapointed as well on my performance. Oh well, shows just how much I've still got to improve I suppose...

Well Hullo Bram! Yes the Z was mine, that is quite a compliment saying that you thought it was Moglets! I did spend quite awhile cleaning the car as I wanted it to look as if it wasn't mine so I worked for what seemed like forever on it. I think your right though it does need a bit more brightness. Sad to see such a brilliant photographer like you out of the tournament already, I wish I had got further too but my little Clio shot let me down, personally I can't see whats so much better about his to mine but its all down to personal opinion I suppose. Thanks for leaving a comment Bram.

Thanks SimmiS! Glad you liked number 2! I loved no.2 as soon as I finished with it in photoshop I loved how clean and realistic the car looked and the smoke effect came out really well for me. So I was dead chuffed until it was changed as it wasn't compliying with the rules. But oh well you can't win everything. Thanks again for your comment.

I think the Clio shot would PWN if it was the Renault Clio V6 Renault Sport Phase 2, and if you showed more of the front of the car, while the background is blurred, to give a sense of speed. Sort of like SimmiS's avatar, but showing the rest of the car, and the background.

the 350Z is a great photo! a bit dark, but then it has its own character because of it. sort of gives it a bit of an underground feel to it. a lot closer to real life if you know what i mean because of the lighting. the silvia on the other hand is a bit distorted to my eyes (maybe it's just me), but i love how you did the whole picture. right on the hairpin too. the clio is very movie like.
specially with the colors and tones you gave to it, plus the blur just completes the whole thing. awesome work on all of them. sorry i havent been in here for a while.

Thanks Krame, glad to know the Silvia which I did almost next to nothing cleaning wise came out so clean, I really don't know how that happened But it is a good effect. Thanks for reassuring me on my shots Krame.

Thanks jgda9rs, most people did vote for the Z in the qualifying round but it still wasn't as high as some of the other shots votes, but I did make it to the next round so I suppose thats good.

With the Silvia, is it the wheel that looks distorted to you, mainly the rear wheel? If it is then thats because I set the rear wheel at a funnt angle so I could drift around those tight hair pins. Glad to know you liked the picture though apart from the Silvia.

Thanks for the comment on my little Clio as well, it is much appreciated. Don't worry about not dropping by recently as, well there wasn't anything to comment on that was new since my 50th Thanks again!

Thinking about my Clio makes me want to do a Clio update with all of the shots that didn't make it past photoshop for my tournament entry.

Don't put yourself down all the time, speedster. C'mon...

Remember you're just starting to go deeper with the 2.0 rules, and it takes practice. Even the best guys around learn something new every now and then, and everyone gets better with time.

You'll improve even more with time, seeing you've been improving a lot lately, and like NTX said, you'll blow most of the guys out of the water in no time.

Just keep practising, your shots are not bad at all. 👍

I always do I know I am only just scratching the boundaries of 2.0 at the moment, I hope to go deeper now that I have Photoshop CS instead of the old 7.0 system.
