SpeedART- Birthday Update!

great angle on the last one, but i find the car a bit too blurry, specially the last one, it seems like it was a bit out of focus. not bad though. i like the reflections and the way the darkness and the lights came together.

You was abusing of surface blur techniques, so the cars are quite artificial. The high contrast also gave some jaggies and overexposed areas. These things could be done with more care to keep the original good looking and don't kill the photo base :)

Okay, I get the picture that I need to calm down on the lens blur . Thanks for your comment and your help alexwrc. I must admit, these aren't the best shots I have ever done, the next update should be much better.
hmmm...the car is kind of "weird"...but on the other hand I like the backgrounds a lot. My fav shot is the last one, brutal camera...action is written all over it.
Now...lets see what U are gonna bring us next:tup:
Thanks for your comment! The next update is....hang on you should get more information nearer the time, I just realised that I have been working on the 1 shot out of the 6 I have to edit for the past 2 days :scared: Thanks again for your comment.

Your right I had a bit of a off day when I took these, as you so corrrectly said the last one looks out of focus especially on the headlights. Thanks again for your comment!

well we all have our good and bad days. i trust you could do great updates all the time 👍 just let it fly man :) i believe in you.

Out of the three shots I would say the third is the better of the three, also I am sorry to say this, but I agree with alexwrc.

They are good shots Speedster!👍, great reflections- pretty much realistic:tup: my favourite of the three would have to be the last one because of your superb zoom-blurring:tup:.
But on a couple of the shots there are a few noticeable jaggies which ruin the cleaness of the main parts of the car, but apart from that they're fine:tup:

Thanks for dropping by TVR&FF. I know these aren't that good as I said earlier. But thanks for your comment.

Thanks Tommi! I know I loved the reflections of the RUF too. I noticed the jaggies now too. Thanks for your comment.
I hae nothing else to say than what has already been said recently, nice shots speedster! :D
Thanks racerx510! Glad to hear you like the shots!

Sound And Speed Competition [PMC]: Toyota Celica & Volvo S60

Rally Competition Week 11 [2.0]: Lancia S4 Rally Car @ Chamonix

Drift Week 15 [PMC]: RUF RGT @ Tsubuka

Yeah I know, just happens to have been a bad month... Glad to know you believe in me, makes me feel *Sniff* special....

*passes a big box of tissues*  great new updates!!the celica and the volvo looks very very lethal if you know what i mean, all great shots though, specially the RUF !!

Cool entries!! The Lancia Delta and the Citroen C5 are my favourites, they have very good details!!!:)

Good luck on the comps!!:D

OMG That Celica shot is brilliant! The color of the car, as well as the perfect focus, makes this shot nice. I never liked the Celica, but this picture has changed my mind a bit. :)

According to the body roll of it, it seems like you are trying to crash that Volvo right in front of it.

Ah well it is good to be back! I would just like to take this chance to say that I had a lovely holiday in North Wales (Even with some rubbish weather at times!). I have some huge plans to kick this gallery back into gear! So I hope all you guys stay along for the ride! Now I will comment on the comments on the last update of which you have commented on .

Great, the reflections and the angles a very good captured indeed, and also (in my seeing) they have the right amount of blur.

Thanks LdS! Glad to know that the shots please you....

Thanks NTX! X2 Firstly for running the competition for me while I was away & for your comment although they don't seem to be doing very well at the moment...:( Poor me.

Thanks Racerx! Glad you liked the Celica , I have never really liked the Celica either but I was pleased with this shot.

 I was in the Volvo.... But thanks for your comment.

That Lancia Delta is utterly fantastic. I don't stand a chance int the comp;)

Thanks Bigdaddy! To tell the truth I don't think that I stand a chance in that competition either, there are some amazing entries in it, especially Franz's & Moglets. Thanks for your comment.

Now I will comment on the comments on the last update of which you have commented on .
 So I can comment on the comments on the comments of the last update which we commented on?
 I was in the Volvo.... But thanks for your comment.
 Bloody AI, they will take you out no matter what. Hey, I'm trying to drive here! Just for attacking me...

Look, it's a bird!!! It's a plane!!! Ohh crap, it's the APEX!! AND YOU MISSED IT!! *:grumpy:*

EDIT: Please don't quote this, I don't know what I am talking about.

This update is a little hard for me so try to stay with me.

Not so long ago my dog, Elsa passed away. Sadly it was not a natural death, we had to put her down and as many should know that is often one of the hardest decisions you can ever have to make. She was in pain from a bladder tumour, there was no way that we could fix it. She was on medication for a long time. We all thought including the vets that she would have been dead by January this year so she survived an extra few months.

She was a very loveable dog that loved us as much as we loved her. We all still throughly miss her and just hope the cat which loved her so much can survive without her.

That cat that I am on about is called Whiskas. When they were young they actually were allowed by Elsa to suckle off her. The other cat, Felix passed away last year.

This update was inspired by Elsa, she was always a fan of our cars. We never owned a estate while we had her but I am sure she would have loved to have had one. There will be another part to this update.

So here it is. Rest In Peace Elsa.

Enjoy.

very nice update speedy! it's probably something i've never seen before. the style is just different, and the car looks so sharp. great feeling of speed on the last one too. terribly sorry to hear about your dogs though. i'm surprised you were able to work on an update after that. i know i wouldnt be able to coz i'd be so upset about it. but i guess it's okay now that elsa's been free of her pains and is probably having the time of her after life in heaven now 👍
cute cats you have btw!

I really like the 2nd shot, did you do any cleanup to the car's front?
Great blur on the back.

1st shot looks good too, great angle on the car and good light, although shot's a bit dark.

But it's understandable, probably the way you felt when you did it. 👍
I remember when my cat died a couple of years ago, I got drunk for an entire week and even missed work, so I know how it hurts when an animal that lives with you dies.
The only cat I have now (Nina), I pick off the street 4 years ago, she was really thin and sick. I took great care of her, and she's a beauty now, best looking cat I've seen. I'll post a pic on my gallery someday. :)

Thanks jgda9rs. Glad you like the shots, although the weird style. It was very hard to work on it, especially taking the shots, I was crying so much when I took them I ended up with about 15 useless shots. You are right and I am glad that she is no longer in pain and in a better place now. Thanks for your comment.
sorry to hear about you loss speed

but very nice photos though

Thanks Drifterboy. I will survive, as they say life goes on, you just have to live with it, even if it is someone that you love. Thanks for the comment on the photos too, I really appreciate it. Thanks again.

I did do a clean up on the front but then when I reinforced the shut lines it all went wrong. It was my first time at doing the line though so it was a understandable mistake of mine. The blur on the back was just a simple guasian blur. Now looking back on the first shot it is a wee bit too dark. I did show it to Bram first though to see what he thought, he said it looked fine to him though. Thanks for your comment on the shots.

But it's understandable, probably the way you felt when you did it.

Well, I can't get drunk yet. I am too young really. Thanks for sharing that with me. I still have two cats but as I said, Felix passed away around August last year. But we very quickly got a replacement cat who...erm...seems to be haunting my avatar...:) It would be nice to show us your cat, I bet it is a beaut. Thanks for your comment.

I'm sorry to hear about your dog speedster, but it's a fitting tribute to her, each shot is entirely individual even though they're all of the same car! The 2nd one is my favourite, the smooth and soft background really constrasts nicely with the sharp looking car. Good work! 👍

It's alright Moglet. I am quite surprised to get such a compliment! Thanks again for your comment, I really, really, appreciate it.

The sots are great:tup:. I’m really sorry for your lost. Losing a pet must be very painful. Although :indiff: (maybe because I was a little boy) I didn’t feel pain losing my cat (died with blood cancer (leukaemia) and AIDS (?)), I can’t stand being out more than one or two weeks far away from my dog.:nervous: But life must go on.

As you so rightly said, life must go on. I suppose one good thing to know was that we could not have done anything about it, it is physically impossible to give surgery to resolve it. Thanks for your comment, I really appreciate it.
Sorry to hear about your loss, but you did Elsa a nice tribute.
Thanks TVR&FF , good to hear that I did a worthy update. Thanks again.

Hello Speed, let me say 1st that I also love animals and its always sad to see them go (hope to a better place). I´m sorry about your lost mate:(
Those shots are really good, quite real...I think Elsa would love them...and to ride on a estate wagon too.👍

Heads up mate...better days will come!!

I am also sorry for your loss, it is always hard to loose a pet. It's like loosing a family member. :( I know how you feel bro...

Thanks NTX, animals have always been a huge part of this family. Elsa was our first ever dog, we got her from a rescue center back in 1999. Even then we never knew how old she was then, nobody knew what happened in the past but we took her on board and gave her affection and care. It was sad to see her go but she is in a better place now.
Thanks for the comment on the shots too NTX.

Thanks racerx, I really do appreciate comments on my updates especially this one. Thanks again.
