SpeedART- Birthday Update!

You're trying out new stuff, good to see. :)

1st shot looks very natural, I like the tones very much, and car looks clean.

2nd shot would've worked better with a horizontal frame, composition's a bit empty, you cropped most of the car on the back and it is way too soft, losing the detail.

3rd shot, I like the light shining on both cars, angle's fine, and the noise in the tarmac makes it look better. Try experimenting fading it and changing the blending mode, you'll be surprised. 👍

Very good update Speed!!! U really have boosted your skills a lot!!! Love that 2nd shot, so good looking!!
The 1st and 3rd shots are top quality too, action all around!!!
And look at the panel...U are a pro now:tup:

Well done:D

i really like the colours in all of them with the last picture being my favorite. but, theres too much noise on the road in the last one imo.

Yup, I certainly think I am. That's why I don't particularly like some of these shots.

The first one was admitidly the one I worked hardest on as there was a lot to do on it. It wasn't a very clean car at all so I spent what felt like days cleaning that one up.

The second shot, I put it as a vertical frame as I felt it captured more of the two cars that I wanted it to capture at the time, but now thinking about what you said it probably would have been better. I don't know how it got so soft though, it looks like I applied a median...but I didn't

The third shot I had some difficulties with. As you may have guessed it was with the noise in the road...As it is something I haven't really experimented with it didn't come out to good and looks like too much noise. But I will try using those blending modes. Thanks for dropping by.

Thanks NTX! Your making me blush though. I don't think I am a pro yet NTX, there are people miles better than me in terms of cleaning, like Beerzy, Alex, Bram and all of that lot. Glad you liked all the shots. Also thanks for the comment of the panel! I really was pleased with how it came out to look, I used some of Alex's as inspiration which helped! So thanks Alex! Thanks for dropping by NTX!
good to be back and speedster once again, incredible pictures.
Good to see you again too, I haven't seen you in ages! around the galleries! Glad you enjoyed viewing the pictures! Thanks for dropping by!
I find the R89C and R92CP quite sexy, and these pictures doesn't dissappoint... 👍
Thanks for coming to my gallery again Racerx510 you seem to be a popular visitor to my gallery now. Glad you liked the pictures! Thanks again for dropping by!
very nice as usual. i love the second shot out of all of them. they all look so natural. what else to say ? 👍
Thanks jgda9rs! The idea was with these shots for them to look natural, so with the blurs I didn't use photoshop blurs I decided to use in game blur which turned out magnificently. Thanks for dropping by jgda9rs!

Thanks [es]! Glad you liked them all! I know that in the last one there is way to much noise in the road that's what ruins it for me on that one. Thanks for dropping by [es]!

Keep checking out this update! I do have another update planned, but I have to take those shots first!

Nice one Speed!

The Nissan pics are great. 👍

The 2nd pic give a real sense of competitors spirit,
while the vivid colours in the last make it damn hot!

Awsome shots (again), I have the CP version (I think), I really like them photos, the bottom one is my favourite, as it looks as if you were stood at the bottom of the track and actually took the photo!

 Thanks AlexTB! I personally can't tell the difference between the two, to me they are just a pair of Nissan Race Cars  Thanks again for your comment.

Nice job speedster. The second is the best imo, the angle gives it a nice feel and seeing the car chasing right behind it. Also the glow is a nice touch too.

They are some good quality shots speedy but not your best, i do like them especially the 2nd one:tup: but i prefer your previous update to this.
keep up the good work:tup:

cheers

Thanks Krame! I'm really confused about what people think about the second one as people are saying it is too soft and others are saying it is the best. I am dread fully confused. Thanks for the comment though!

Nice to see you again Tommi! I know these are not some of my best, I can do better but these were more experimental shots than anything, I was trying new techniques such as the noise on the road. Which meant some didn't come out perfectly. But thanks for the comment!

Hi guys!
Well no one else seems to have commented, so if you haven't get your comment in soon cause the next update will be up fairly soon!

But as a source of entertainment before then. I made a video in Windows Movie Maker with some of my existing MPH footage that my Dad took in 2005. It isn't brilliant but is the first time I have ever used that programme for...umm...anything really. So I hope you enjoy although it isn't GT4 related, but this is a one off.
I hope you enjoy!

Hey, nice gallery you have here, and good pics. I can’t wait until your next update…

P.S. – Cars playing football? LOL, Now that’s funny…

Looking good Speedster 👍

Only thing is that you need to clean the car on places the camera is focused on, the body lines can easily be fixed by removing them while cleaning the surrounding areas and re-create them with a black line and then dodge the side 👍 Apart from that, very nice 👍

I saw the same thing about football with cars at MPH 06, but if Speedster or anyone else wants to see my videos from MPH 06, then PM me.

Thanks  They have done it every year since MPH05. Glad you liked the photos.
That DB9, I must have it!
Yes, so must I!! Why do you think I edited the 75 minutes long video to have that in? :sly: Thanks for your comment though.

Thanks for dropping by Bram! I will take your comments on board as usual and will try to improve on it. Thanks for dropping by.

Yes, but didn't they use Fox's? At the NEC's Event they did it using Fox's and Aygo's. We are planning to borrow someones video camera to record it this year as well. We missed out on filming last year and my best mate is coming with this year so it should be great fun!
What a video 👍
Great Aston Martin and a very wild Impreza!!!
Thanks NTX! The Impreza was very wild, I will try and make a video with no music over it so then you can hear the noise the engine made  Thanks for your comment.

i agree!! but my favorite part has to be that of the cars playing soccer! that was awesome!!

Thanks jgda9rs! The cars playing football was one of my favourite bits. I plan to make another video today if I have time.

If you haven't done the Aston Martin DB9 in British Green, with black rims, you should.

Or you can do a Lotus Motorsport Elise/Elise 190/Esprit in British Racing green and any rims. :) Just my ideas...

I am planning on doing one more update with another car that has a theme for it before the British Racing Green update. But thanks for your ideas.

you should do a japanese factory battle pic, with the whole grid of six cars all in the picture taking a corner in suzuka, all stock cars with no mods whatsoever. just my idea :D

Glad to see people coming up with some great ideas! I must try some soon!

Hey guys! Sorry for the double post but it is update time!

It has been awhile since I last updated. Thanks everyone for all your comments and suggestions, I may well be using some of them! This update actually happened by accident. I was taking shots for CCCL 21 with my RUF RGT at NY, I realised that the reflections at New York are often breath taking so I decided to take more shots than I was going to. One of these shots are a 2.0 version of my entry. I have worked fairly hard on most of these, but some may well be a bit...well..erm...dodgy. I hope you enjoy.

Thanks
Speedster502

P.S: It's supposed to be spelt like how I wrote it.

You was abusing of surface blur techniques, so the cars are quite artificial. The high contrast also gave some jaggies and overexposed areas. These things could be done with more care to keep the original good looking and don't kill the photo base :)

Salu2.alexwrc

hmmm...the car is kind of "weird"...but on the other hand I like the backgrounds a lot. My fav shot is the last one, brutal camera...action is written all over it.
Now...lets see what U are gonna bring us next:tup:
