We did a bunch of laps tonight at Daytona and I feel the ford and dodge r to fast. It kills me to say that because I want the ford badly, but it just won't be fair. I'm going to switch to the BMW to spread the field a bit. In my opinion the quick match cars all seem fair after testing most of them. Hope this helps some tiger, and I'm in support with what ever u decide to do, but I want to race a car that's evenly matched with others.

Testing I've done at Daytona (and perhaps the quick match PP limits take into consideration the track too...)???
But testing I've done (most all cars)

SLS = stability + upper average top speed - perhaps dominant
Ford = stabilty + upper average top speed - perhaps dominant
Z4 = if someone can tame the twisties this has the best top speed - perhaps dominant
GTRs = lacking and out of contention - but great cars
Audis = lack stabiltiy with speed and lacking speed with stability
Vette = underrated and amazing but underpowered for top speed
Dodge = untested

Tjger do not be discouraged!!
Hammering all this out is on all of us!! We're all happy to provide feedback but at the end of the day we'll all run what the event is without complaining and if ther is complaining let me know and I am happy to play the bad guy harasser guy to shame them into submission.

I am all about limiting options - I LOVE the idea of having my car picked for me and if its a turd it's a turd.... And if I have no chance to win so be it.... I am all about authentic racing!!!!!

Patiently waiting for final plans!!!

Thank you for averaging our feedback!! But know at the end of the day were all on board with anything!!!!!!!

I'll regret saying my ford is a PP or 2 over..... But I wanna be fair too!!!!! I don't want anyone hating the Ole GT I want them to revere it!!!!

I am not happy with the forced car choice I have.
The R8 is an awful piece of 🤬 that can't handle or accelerate. I'm going to take a different car, even if it bans me from this event.

I love it!! The detail you put in it is amazing! The sticker, my ID name, the bucket seats and the GT logo! You are good Rick! I might ask you for a favor for my upcoming video... keep an eye for a PM from me ok
Hey bro! What type of font is the one you used for the Club's logo?

Considering there might be a shake-up on its drivers line-up because of the contract between the driver Mazda and the manufacture Ford, Team AMG Mecedes has brought forward its initial test session at Daytona Speedway to the 9th Dec.

With their team driver alexmavis onboard, the 55 minutes session was mainly about working on the chassis setup, finding the best racing line and braking reference point.

the Team has released three official pictures of the #24 Silver Arrow:

about 30 laps was completed by the #24 contender, the driver found it is tricky at the beginning since there is no meter-board on this track when approaching a corner thus finding a braking and turn-in reference points is difficult.

With the regulations on restricting horsepower and PP limit, pushing the top speed on the AMG SLS was also difficult.

The driver admit these are the challenges he has to work on in order to max out the potential of the AMG SLS and also to reach his target laptime.

After the debute session, the best laptime in an online room is 1:45.517.

Although the improvement on the laptime during the 55 mins session is encouraging, 1:45.517 is still a far from the target.

:cheers::cheers:

Yup im at a 46flat, but with the ford im 44's and i could c a 43 come from that car. I like the bmw its a good challenge, plus it puts diff cars on track!

44s - 43s is quite fast…!!

i bet the ford is very agile and quick acceleration with good top speed

I had not spent time fine tuning my ford as its set up for road racing... on racing hards I was flirting with times closer to higher 140s... I'm sure on softs and with a track specific tune comparable times are possible - but I agree 143s and 144s better be have good brakes!!!!!!!!!!!!! those are fast times!

I think i had 144.887 something like that with the ford, car brakes so well at the end of the tri-oval!! Mazda might recall the time but i think it was in that area?

Hey Tjger, can I request to be the Pace Car driver tomorrow night? Just leave the boost off and if an accident occurs I'll jump on the track and keep everyone at 30 MPH for a lap to make sure the wreck is cleared and the car is back up and running.

T
The Vette although I'm not sure if I'm using the right regulations pp, hp,. I'm using the same settings I used last time we tested the cars last week.
You are using the wrong settings! With the new ones the Vette can only reach close to 160mph and with the one you are using you are doing the 186mph
Check page 83 for the regulations, or click on my signature

THANK GOODNESS!!!
I was about to be busy dusting the house that night!!!!!
yeah I got the vette into the 163mph range with low downforce... but the 550pp hurts it on the top end...
