Seasonals are a good measure if everbody tries their best. But a lot of people just want gold and stop there.
I only did a more laps on the Midfield Seasonal for example jsut golded the other 2

Seasonal don't count cause is like a one hit wonder,
Can you repeat the same lap time for over 2hrs?

I think u know right where u stand on this, u need to prepare and practice practice practice! When we r in a room preparing for this event u were running around in the wrong car getting in the way? I take this very seriously, almost to the point of I have dreams because I play way to much. I can't afford to be a real driver so this is all I got, I was not good until I purchased a wheel and built a racing area in my house. When I joined this club I came from other groups where I won almost every event, I was bored. Now I'm fighting every event and nothing is for free, a good challenge! You will know when ur times arrives, u will feel it trust me. As for now I name u blocker boy and u can improve from there. I'm not being mean just giving u a long winded response that I hope u get something from?

I did ask Eh team if I could drive the thing! I just tone out voices too quickly so I often miss when people ask me to move.
 
Ok I will weigh in on the ford. I tested it at Daytona and found it to be a cut above the rest so I posted on that. Boy I got killed on my post? I do believe the hp was lowered a bit and I decided to run the car again. Boy I got killed again on my decision? So that's when I decided to just shut up and move on to the bmw which was real close i felt. Then I thought about controlling that monster for 2hrs and made the switch to slow and comfortable. I felt good about going to the slower car because I had a big challenge ahead of me now, and I would stay interested! When I won I all but creamed my shorts lol. So all I can say is if u don't want to drive a car for certain reasons then u will be at peace with ur choice. I take nothing away from Alex u did a great job and battled tuff, and Man U r crazy about this stuff like me and I like that about u! So I guess if u feel like u can drive well chose the car that gives u a good challenge and dig deep, plan ahead and practice until u have dreams like me haha. I end with this, best club, best group of guys, and best competition around! Thanks tiger for a great event, and thanks sac for letting me be a part of this stuff!!!

Yeah thats my point. At Daytona everybody was complaining about it and the differnce on this track with long straights and slow corners wasnt even that much.
Now its fine and the Driver is the Problem suddenly. It should not be that way someone should test the cars before or the winning car should get punished. No one wants a field full of Ford GT. Nissan for example does not even get 1 car in the grid But we had 3 Fords.

and this is one of the reasons why I keep saying I am a human, although I did well in Daytona and Spa, there's always a voice deep inside saying "it's the Ford"....

well, Spa gave me a bigger challenge than Daytona, because I really have to setup the chassis properly to overcome the problems on some areas.

and during the race, the battle with EH was really really intense.

you were behind us on the first stint and saw it, and if you think that was intense, jump to lap 14-17, those were brutal.

but the whole race I didn't made any big mistake, the biggest one I made was the one where you overtook me at the first corner, I overshoot the corner and went wide.


anyway, I always enjoy racing here and racing with you guys.

so Mphile has won @ Daytona, imagine if he has to race @ Spa with a SLS at lowered/penalised HP, he will be dead last.

and to be honest, I wasn't that much faster than EH, qualify time was 0.155 difference.

At the first stint, EH was pulling away from me, I barely able to keep up with him.


but, if I have to driver a lowered HP Ford GT @ Suzuka, I will accept it, because it's a challenge and I would love to take it!!!

However, lowering HP is to even up the field, not if it will slow me down dramatically. lol

read my last post, if I have to drive a lowered-hp Ford GT @ Suzuka, I will accept the challenge.

to be honest with you, I tried SLS, Z4, R8 and Ford GT @ Daytona and I found the Z4 and Ford are the closest regarding top-speed and lap time.

I didn't choose the Ford at the beginning because everybody was against it since it is a fast car, thus I chose the SLS.

And the SLS was pretty good at the beginning until you guys dig deep into the Z4 and set faster and faster lap time, thus I switch to the Ford.


Did Ford win @ Daytona? nope.

Did Z4 win @ Daytona? nope.

The slowest SLS did.


I agree with you about an even field, that's why Tjger put out the specs after testing and research, and we choose our own car.

If you are not happy, fine, if you want to say I won the race because of the car, fine.

Then next time choose a proper car for yourself before the series started, nobody will stop you.


Aveena, you are a fast driver, everybody in the club knows.


You were driving the same Z4 as EH did last night, he was 2nd and you were 4th. He did 2:15 and you did 2:15, we all push the limit to get to that lap time.


Do you think I drove with my toe to get that 2:14...???? I push myself to the limit too!!!

check the replay, I smoke the rear tires almost @ every corner!!!!


as I've said, I spent more than 2000km on the same track, that's about 290 laps...


I give credits to the car, and also myself. :cheers:
 
Again I am not complaining about the z4 Performance or your Performance. You deserved your win and i had a lot of fun. Its about the differnnce between the Ford and the other Cars.

First of all the SLS is not the Slowest car. I think the BMW and the SLS and the Vette are the Benchmark the other cars should be as fast as them.

The time diffrence is 1.5sec on the same driver which would be fine if it was from the best to the slowest car. With the best car beeing hard to drive and the slowest beeing easy.
Of course we are all doing our best and pushing very hard but if you try the cars yourself you will see that I am right.

But it is 1.5sec to the SECOND FASTEST CAR which is a beast to drive while the Ford is a dream.
The Audi is another second off and also a beast to drive.
Thats 2.5 sec slower and with taking more risk of crashing.
I am not talking about driver skill or how hard you need to push. I am just comparing the Cars with the same Driver

And it is depressing when people give up before the race starts because "XY Car is faster than mine i cant compete"
or writing after a race "Vette S U CK S"

Just do the Same as I did and drive the Audi for example. Its an MR car you should copy your Setup from the Ford.
Then come back and tell me that you have a fair chance of getting a podium in that car.

No, I'm sure about it being slow just go to quick match and see for your self, no power, slipstream doesn't appear to work, top speed 10+ miles slower than the others and mount panorama is a pretty twisty track.

Edit: That's why no one picked the vette from the beginning. But I'm not saying not to race with it or for you to change cars , but Me being a bad driver + a slow car = frustration, but I'm sure everyone else can win with any race with it.
