hey guys, i have been absent for so long... hopefully i can make it to casuals tonight.....

that SRT on the ring is painful....4 days to get the gold

alex is right about keeping it in 3rd.... that was my remedy.... I also applied slight amount of brakes in some corners to dull the speed a bit... helped to keep it stable. keeping it in 3rd or 4th eradicated the wheel spin when going on the throttle... it was definitely a patience thing.... that car requires more focus than the Redbull Fan car
It will be good to have you back racing with us.

Have I got news for you guys.

So with the blessing of our perpetually drinking lord (Ole) I have revived the Bracket A Death. I've made an attempt to expand it and make it deathier, so if you guys are interested in checking it out head to the Racing Series forum and take a look at the revisions and changeups.

Even if you don't participate I assure you won't miss any of the action.

So go, take a look, see what you want to see, like it, share it, tag anyone who may like it, do whatever you feel like and enjoy.

Sounds great! Going in solo but would prefer to join an SAC team. Any takers?

My Camping site

Going below 500pp is pure joy for me, I love little cars with no power, front wheel drive becomes fun below 470ish pp. Favourite track is a difficult one though, Bathurst is awesome, Autumn Ring is beautiful, and Cape Ring is just such a challenge sometimes.

I'm more in favor of Trial Mountain but that's only b/c that's the track I use to test my newly tuned cars. I do prefer the 550PP range for a car though. Seems to hit that sweet spot for me I guess.

Two days and nobody in here
are they all drunk like me:cheers:

Just a question to ask
What's your Favorites track and pp limit
Or do you want try some off road with 550pp
or something difference
Just a quick follow up on this. if anyone has any ideas for casual night you would like to try. Run it by me via PM and if it's within reason I'm sure I can get it in. This also applies to any errors or anything that can be made better with my agendas.

Preliminary race agenda for this week:
race 1: blah blah blah 549PP
race 2 yada yada yada 551PP
race 3 blah blah blah 548PP
race 4 one make but the car must be 551PP
race 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 repeat the above.

** All above items subject to change without further notice.

The true agenda will be posted shortly but I did want to get this new info out as soon as possible. Two weeks from tomorrow, July 23rd, there will be a Formula 1 race complete with pit stops, tire wear, fuel consumption, etc. This race will have a qualifying session first followed by a 1 hour race. The night will still begin at 8 as usual but starting approx. 9pm EST, the qualifying will begin. once completed, the first of a 4 part series will be run which will be a 1 hour race at Silverstone (GP circuit).
penalties will be ON and there will be no boost. At least one pit is mandatory but tire and fuel wear will be normal. A tire compound change is NOT required. The PP limit will be 880 for your F1.
remember, after this race is over, there will be another in a couple of weeks so the points for each week will be totaled for one final winner.
So get your F1's prepped and ready to go boyz. We'll most likely be running them in the casuals tomorrow. Of course that really won't be known for sure until some idiot posts the agenda.

Tarkus, I love your club. I'm sure you know that. I've stated it many times. 👍
I developed my knowledge of GT6 online racing as a direct result of your thread/club.
Since then, I've grown to be able to answer all manner of questions that come up on GTP.

You need to learn how to use the buttons available, I have a sense of dread every time I see you post 3 things in a row. The staff on this site hate double posts. (the same person posting more than once in a row)

I'm not able, right this minute ( I'm drunker than hell), to explain anything. I think it would be good if you look into double posting as a phenomenon though.

Yeah, bad habit of whenever I start a separate topic or even just another idea I do that. Gotta stop and think.
Anyhoo, thanks for pointing it out to me though and if for some reason any administrators of this awesome site are catching up, I do sincerely apologize.
Now onto another topic. The agenda for tomorrow will shortly be posted.

I think it is forgiven/allowed if something new is being added to the thread. I'm not 100% sure. Anyway, you seem to be doing ok so far. I don't intend to interrupt too much.
