Alright Racers
The Main Event scheduled for April 24th is set. This is your official Announcement Sheet
We will be traveling to Japan for the start of the S.A.C World Tour 2014. First stop is JapanStart time is as usual 8:00 PM EST

We will start at Toyko R246 12 laps
Then we will travel to Special Stage Route 5 12 laps
Then to Tsukuba 20 laps
Then to Suzuka 12 laps......there is a slight 30% chance of rain.
Then finish the Tour at Twin Ring Motegi the full road course 12 laps

Performance Points: 500
Horse Power No restriction
Weight Limit No restriction

All Tuning is allowed. The only requirement is the 500 PP

As usual Nitrous is prohibited

All Japanese Road Cars are permitted
All Drive trains are permitted

Drivers are allowed to switch cars during the Tour.
Starting Grid Order: Reverse Grid Order based on previous race. Everyone will get the opportunity to be on pole.


There are no restrictions on Tires/Fuel or Pit stops. Pit crews are allowed on pit row to verbally guide their drivers to victory.

Our normal Main Event settings will be in place.

Teams and drivers are advised to save a replay for their viewing pleasure(s).

There will be a points system based on the results.
1st 10, 2nd 8, 3rd 7, and so fourth.

Alright Gentlemen. here is the agenda for our August 14th Casual Night

All races are 5 laps( unless noted) and be filtered by HP. Horsepower
350 HP
375 HP

One region. Europe. Any car purchased from the European dealerships. 400 HP.
Track: Nurburgring GP/ F Formula One circuit.

400 HP
425 HP

One Make race. The Host will set it up in the lobby GTR Nismo GT 3 N24.
Track: Spa-Francorschamps 3 laps

450 HP
500 HP

Grand Event Trial Run. Super GT. GT500. Track Suzuka 5 laps
If you intend to race the Grand Event on Aug 28th this will give everyone a trial run on how their car is performing. You can test your car how ever you wish. You don't need to use your primary car.
I'm sure this race will be 'save the replay' by everyone. Your pit crew will probably watch it more than you.

Since this is a short agenda.
There will probably be time left to run around Daytona with our NASCARs.

The BOSS will decide the laps.

The only thing suggestion I have is...keep feeding me with these ideas.

Right now according to the Bulletin Board on page 48.
I have our original Tour of Japan 500 PP planned for September 25. The Original 500
This time we use our Japanese Road Cars on the original 5 tracks that PD created.
Autumn Ring,
High Speed Ring,
Grand Valley,
Deep Forest,
Trail Mountain.

10 laps each with no restrictions except Nitrous and penalties.
Any Japanese Road Cars.


Now as far as running a 400 PP car race.
Do you guys want it treated as a Main Event, a Grand Event or as something we can do on a Casual Night?

Next week is Casual Night. Next week there will be no plan unless you guys want one.

If I remember correctly WE had a casual night with low PP and it was a BLAST!! The only problem was that we got stuck with one CAR the WHOLE night! So I'm not sure what the GANG wants but If we are going with a 400pp race you guys better watch out for my GREEN CRX!!!

He replicates actual cars to real life specs...
When I drive with my wheel - they feel REALLY REALLY realistic for most of tunes... It may not be the same with a controller though, and they are typically not 'alien' tunes - so they aren't always the "fastest"... but his vette tune for example... feels REALLY SIMILAR to my car believe it or not....

So perhaps we could have an event with a make or class of REAL TUNES.

It would certainly take some prep work to find 4-5 cars that all are tuned to super similar performance, use the exact tunes - but I love doing that type of research and putting in lap after lap... Once we decided on a class or group of cars... 2 of us maybe could work together on some independent tests - come up with the best way to manage each car's pp or hp or power to weight to keep a level playing field. Get times to within 1-2 seconds.... I'm sure he's got different classes that he's tuned pretty tight and could provide some feedback for us too.

or perhaps we could do a 1 make to make it even tighter - but with different colors and number plates and wheels and spoiler options we could deck out our cars to look a little different...

would have to be something we plan for a ways out as it would take some planning - but that could be interesting and keep it in the drivers hands as opposed to some magical tune...

just throwin out options for future events...

I just want to thank you guys for allowing me to be a part of the grand event. That race was crazy. I completely underestimated the length of time I would have been driving. I kinda lost concentration early out in the race or im sure I would have kept up with mazda for a longer time.

Now onto the Casuals. I'm liking these ideas a lot especially the one make no tuning racing (since it definitely becomes more about who the better driver is than who has that unicorn tune). The low pp races as well are a fantastic idea as well with the right track choices (shorter tracks since these cars will be slower) it will make for some extremely fun racing.

That idea is ON the table. The BOSS wants it when PD releases a few more Vision GT cars.

Yeah, usually I'll put in a few One makes on Casual night to just get a feel for what everyone wants. Check Manny's Channel for examples. The GT-Rs at Lemans was good.

Next week is Casual Night. mazda is going to reprint the agenda.

Its possible we can squeeze the 400 PP into a Casual Night. Unless you guys want it treated as a two hour Grand Event.

Here's how the BOSS likes it.
Casual Night... quick brief(3-5 lap races) around circuits that members vote on. All AIDS available. Also mixed in a few special races(ie One Make Model, One specific manufacture, One specific region, One specific era, or Karts). Members requests are welcome and encouraged.

Main Events... short races(10 laps) around predefined tracks in effort to replicate a type of series. All AIDS available. Example(s). Tour of Japan. 5 races around tracks located in Japan. Tour of Europe. 5 races around circuits located in Europe. Next month. The Original 500 5 races that were first introduced in Gran Turismo 1. The Main Events are for those members interested in a little more seriousness. Race cars can be used in Main Events also. Last month's Tour of Japan GT 300 was a great Main Event.

Grand Events. These are for the hard core members. Our Lemans race in June and last night's Suzuka GT 500 are examples of Grand Events. They can range from one to two hours in length.They offer a taste of what really happens in the real world. They're designed to make you sweat, hold your bodily fluids, and skip that trip to the gym. Most importantly, make you think. How fast can I go on the limits I have? Fuel/tire/car, the competition all must be factored in. They are intended to make you experience what the big boys go through.

So please keep the ideas coming. As you do formulate your ideas, think about how it will fit in.
Do you want a short(Casual) race, medium(Main), race, or long(Grand) race?
Its possible to split a Casual Night into two parts.
Any restrictions.
The most important and must be considered is...does everyone have that car? Some of us don't have enough time to grind for cash.

Also there are only 16 spots on the grid. The BOSS has over 70 members. Who knows, do you guys want two(vs. three) Casual Nights, a Street Night, and one either Main or Grand Event a month? The are only four Thursdays (normally) a month.

As GT 6 grows( at a slow pace) more content will excite idea. Course creator is one example. Which one of you will design the Official Spinning Arrows Circuit ? 💡

Sounds like fun! Actually looking forward to that special stage route x.....haven't done anything like that. Does anything go in that race? Can we use NOS? Because that would be interesting.

Another suggestion is using weather. Sometimes it can be fun, as long as you are not driving ridiculous cars with no aids. And as long as you are not in the rain all night....that can be tedious. But just sticking it in a random race without telling anybody can make things a bit interesting.

Just a quick message for anyone that may have sent me a recent FR and not gotten a response. Spinning Arrows is obviously up and running although I will not be available on PSN for another couple of weeks. If you are interested in the upcoming casual races, please also send an FR to MAZDA3PRO and as soon as I am back on the PSN I will accept the FR.
Please believe that I do not ignore ANYONE's FR. in the meantime, MAZDA will be the host until my return so for anyone new, please send him the FR. For all the regulars, please everyone say a big "thank you" to Mazda for jumping in and hosting while i'm away. If he was not there, the recent mega race at Suzuka may not have happened.

Vehicles will be any Japanese Road Cars. For those who remember the Tour of Japan. This is a continuation of that series.
