yup, will be good to know what tires and drivetrain and driving aids is allowed.

:)

Ok gentlemen.
Our Grand Event at Suzuka is over. The Super GT folks and the track owner were impressed with how we cleaned up after ourselves. 👍

Most of you also know this race was the McCarthy Racing Team's farewell race. I thank everyone for racing with us.
I have created over 100 races both short and long for the Spinning Arrows Club. Some good, some bad. My three favorites were the Grand Event at Lemans , the Tour of Japan GT300 , and the Grand Event at Suzuka GT500.

Hopefully the new S.A.C. Management Team will bring the same excitement that I devoted myself to. In the coming days I will distance myself from the Club. I will also leave behind some of the tools I used. I will keep channels open and answer any questions outside of the S.A.C thread.

I understand that the Management Team will be open to any new race formats that you guys can create.
So don't let your ideas sit idle. 💡

Again thanks to those who raced with us at the Grand Event at Suzuka.

I've only been to 2 casual nights so far but can appreciate the level of effort it takes to keep things like this together. It sounds like you, tarkus & mazda have been working on this for a while. Sorry to read what looks like a semi-farewell. Hats off to you.

Sad to see you go Tjger. It has been fun racing with you. Enjoyed listening to you during the races too. And all the advice you along with alcheng and manny gave for Suzuka. If it wasn't for you guys I would have been dead last haha. Anyway, all the best and hopefully I will see you on the track sometime again!

mmm..... that's not a good news..... :irked:

:)
What I know is:
Any ROAD car made in Japan, 500pp, any tires, tuning allows, any drivetrain, NO nitrous oxide.
So far that I can remember Right now

No one has commented on here all day! I had to comment so there would be at least one. So, I have two questions - first, how many of you prepare your cars for casual nights? Second, can we use NOS in the last race with no restrictions? It would be interesting to see how fast we can go, especially if there are lots of cars to draft to get our speed built up

Hey Benny,
I don't really prepare my cars at all since is just for fun... If I need to do some tuning I do it when I am selecting my car and as for Nitro we don't really use it, But if we are going to have a race at the Spacial stage X then it could be a MAYBE?

It depends if Tarkus would like to allow it or Mazda since they HOST.

 Hey TEAM,

It was a different experience Driving with you guys at the GT500 EVENT and I have to say that it takes A LOT of concentration!! Otherwise you are fighting the TRACK instead of Fighting for a spot.

Anyways I had a BLAST, It was FUN and I really hope you guys had a good time.

So now I bring you our GT500 EVENT!
I would like to ask for a HUGE favor from ALL of you and the favor is this:

"If you guys like the video can you guys help and DOUBLE LIKE the video please... what I mean is just select the YOUTUBE icon and it will take you to the video's URL, once there just give the video a THUMBS UP and that's ALL"

Reason I am asking for this is that it will help the Club & the video get known!! NOW that we are getting bigger I would like to show what SPINNING ARROWS CLUB has to offer.... AND scare the other CLUBS out there as well!!

I can't wait to watch that video. I should also answer my own question...I prepare my cars, but not necessarily to win, but to have fun. As for nos, I generally do not use it. It is expensive and I feel it is a little cheap unless you are in a drag race. BUT if we ever did use it, stage X would be the place

I did prepare several cars for previous casual nights, so now I have ones at various pp levels that I can quickly adjust with the power limiter 5 or 10 pp either way to fit the race. 👍

I hope I can Race with you tonight FergusMik!! If I don't I will have to do a TITTLE LOAN!

Great job Manny! That was a lot of video, impressive you got it done and on National TV in less than a week. :sly: And what great racing all around, you guys all have some serious nerves to be able to race that long.

In answer to Benny's question. My first casual night, I tried lining up all my cars, but ended up ditching them to try and step up my game once I saw what everyone else was racing. I have a list and tunes going for tomorrow, we'll see if I can stick to it. That is if I don't get anymore online errors this week.

I know you're all curious about the next big event. The complete details are just about done but what I can say right now is that it is scheduled for September 25th and will be called The Japanese road car challenge. The cars will be limited to 500PP. A real sheet will soon be posted so you can all prep your cars accordingly.
As far as casual night racing tomorrow, please don't forget that it will once again be hosted by Mazda.
Happy racing gentlemen!

After further testing, please see edit above regarding the new PP level.

I think people need to be made aware of a glitch going around that can hurt SAC.

If a PSN user accepts a friend request from anyone in an open lobby before joining, it denies them, saying the room is full even if it's only half-occupied.
