I got my first laps in last night. Never like Le Mans (just no personality...long straights and a couple bendy areas) but Zolder is fun.

Now the car is fantastic. You really don't get a good feel for it until you try Zolder in the dry with a wheel. I was literally giggling like a little girl in a couple corners. Just a great car.

Le Mans is fine but I don't have much experience there because I hate the track so I have avoided it. Going to be tough finding braking points in traffic with the spray going everywhere. I have basically decided to just take it easy, pretend it's a gentle Sunday drive, and survive. Then go balls out at Zolder

I hope everyone takes that same approach to race one, give space, give respect, and try and behave. Cant win on lap one, but the draft will tell you otherwise, haha

Tonight we start a new series in the BMW M1-Procar . This has been a long time goal to get this car into a series, should be a good challenge with the race settings, or you will just plain hate me .

First we will tackle Le Mans in light rain, if you spin it will basically rip the tread from your tires .

Second we will visit Zolder in the fog.

I sure hope everyone practiced at some point with our race settings, this is our first series not allowing driver aids, and braking is the one thing that scares me .

I look forward to seeing everyone tonight, and i will try and keep my mic off, because I constantly cough due to being sick, so you do want to listen to that all night

Ran some laps last night, 4:17s not sure if that's good or not. I pretend there are eggs on the pedals, only had 2 spins. One I recovered, the other not. If you spin onto the grass, you are in for a ride!

Start with whatever you need, no restrictions on that. Mandatory pit will be on for both events though.

Another thing I forgot to mention to the new guys coming in is we use 2 different psn chats. We dont use game chat because it generally is annoying to see everyone's name keep popping up when they talk during the race, and the game chat quality is just terrible. So find hole and slide in and all should be good. I also have a SRM race control chat i will invite new guys to, this how we communicate with each other on race night if we have to do a lobby restart. Please try to reframe from using this chat during the race periods, and try to not make a habit of using it as a way of talking with each other about nonsense. We try and strictly keep it for race info on race night. Regular chatter can be absorbed in the gtplanet chat.

My Tuesday nights will be better spent playing Stardew Valley. Enjoyed rain racing as usual (way more fun than racing in the dry in pCARS) but hated the tire wear in that situation. Second race I took your guys word for it that the tires wouldn't last long enough to do one stop, instead of practicing, so by locking myself into a two stop strategy I was going to come last anyway and I hate Zolder.

I'll be out for this series then, you can give my spot to someone else this time. This car is fun with the right tune, which I have no clue how to find. Other than Panorama and Le sarthe the track list is like a list of my least favourites anyway.

wow... what a race!!!

I was surprised I would be 4th on the grid, did a messy start thus lost a place to Grim, follow him for couple laps and then some battles with many others such as Ice_warden, Evo, Mexxi...

After some battles with those guys, and I have to say this is such a clean group, give room to each other, nothing crazy, I found myself running 2nd right behind EH..

Then EH had a mistake thus I was leading the race!! LOL.... I can't believe....

Although it's only couple laps cos at a moment I was too much on my mirror checking which line EH might take and missed my braking point, too much curb on the chicane thus a spin-out.... dang...

After that I got hit by a 10s penalty, same chicane, ya.. too much curb, no spin-out this time but 10s...

Came home at 5th...

Of cos I want better result but the race was so much fun and exciting.

I hope it's gonna be the same fun next week @ Bathurst.

Some fierce battles for sure last night! I just hope everyone enjoys the series and its not to much of a handful with tire wear at 5x. My whole plan was to force drivers to take care of their equipment and see what kind of pit strategys would appear? Next week will be a big challenge again, with 2 completely different tracks!
