Well I finally found out that since I did not allow ABS in the main controls I was unable to use ABS in any game I set up. I have since corrected, much easier and faster.

i assume the regulations say any driver who is on the top half of the table must use slick-hard in any race.

Fyi- the next series will not allow abs or any driver aids for that fact. It will be a classic car so I figured we would drive her in her original glory

I don't, I don't like how most cars drive with abs in pCARS, I only use it on the really fast ones. I usually use real assists on everything.

Of course in every other game (other than on stock cars on comfort tires in GT) I couldn't live without abs.

Race Day Alert

Tonight is the conclusion of our GTE series .

I have strapped an old mattress to the rear of my car for tonight to maybe absorb some of the blows i could receive during the race for being to slow

-Racing like gentleman section-

If you take a penalty during the race, please remember before you spin the guy out in front of you that you put yourself in this situation, not the guy in your ways fault . Also the Gtplanet rules clearly state if you cause the incident you must give spot back even if you are to lose spots. Now if there is communication between the 2 drivers and the affected driver says don't worry about it then by all means carry on 👍. If you ruffled a guys feathers to get him out of your way because your much faster i have no issues with this, but if a spin is the result ya goofed up, and you must return spot, its the proper move. Chain reaction hits, they happen, if you are plowed from behind and you hit someone in front of you because of this, not your fault carry on. If you think that ya tapped someone and they spun, well its a judgment call, but deep down inside im sure you know what happened 💡. We don't issue penalties here at SRM, but with that said we pride ourselves on trying to be clean and proper group! I will never call out a driver directly on this thread and neither should you, we try and keep this thread positive to the fullest. If you ever have an issue please go to a pm for the problem and work it out .

Quite a series. @mexxifrieboy did a great job putting it together. Just when all the Aston drivers were going to crucify him... this guy @EvoGT89 shows up and shows everyone what the Aston is really capable of. Phenomenal showing sir!!!

Hopefully everyone stocks up on their adult diapers for @mphile77's M1 Procar Series starting next week. It is going to be the most challenging SRM series to date. Be sure to get practice in and ask for tuning help if needed.

And happy (close to) 100 pages!!! We really are fortunate to have the smartest, fastest, most badass, cool and occasionally vulgar group anywhere. Thank you all for supporting us goons in SRM and helping each other to become better racers in the process.

Great series indeed - this is the first online league I've participated in and it was very well organized. Now I'm kicking myself for missing races 3 and 4

anyway, nice race last night, I finally found myself being consistent the whole time and running 5th safely, behind the whole fast group thus there's nothing to complain about..

then found myself running out of gas on the last 2 corners on the last lap....

funny thing is 30L of fuel last me 9-1/2 laps, 1/2 means the parade lap on lap 1, thus I put in 35L on the stop for the next 10 lap and it's not enough....


it was a good race, fun keeping coltjugg away from me.. LOL

I saw EH spun, thought "oh nice, I gain a place", but only to see him filled my mirror less than 2 laps later... "wtf... that fast..???""

A good racing series is really hard to come by. I did attempt one in the past but the series literally went for 1 race, then participation in the 2nd race dropped drastically and the host gave up on it. Then I gave up on trying to find a series/league to join

I've just been participating in online races and trying to race semi-regularly in casual online races with drivers I've crossed paths with at roughly the same level and exercise track etiquette. I've met some crazy fast drivers out there.

Ps. yes I do see a premium box beside your name, you have it because you're special and you've demonstrated to the moderators your impressive series-hosting skill.

It's funny you mention that... for some reason I adjusted my pit strategy right before the race as if the parade lap didn't use up any fuel... then quickly realized I used at least 2/3's of the average per-lap fuel usage on that parade lap. In-race I found myself multitasking having to do math in my head while trying focusing on the track to figure out how long I'd make it before the first pit and what my pit fuel re-fill should be

btw, one time i got tipped by Eh thus had a spin out, but then you passed me while i was still on the grass, another time i got onto the grass on the 2nd corner but didn't spin.. but i remember i was alone... thus which one you are referring to?

I had a hard time understanding this car/game when it came to fuel strategy for this series . I ran out or had to drive around half throttle a bunch for 3 races . Eh Team explained it to me last night and i was going about it all wrong in my planning, but after my senior moment/rookie mistake i now get it .
