Drivers Briefing

  • There will be a group message for grid organization so it is impossible to get mixed up.
  • Every race will include a manual rolling start.
Warm Up Laps
  • When the lights go out simply leave your grid for a warm up lap once the car in front leaves making sure that you stay in the position that you qualified or in the case of a reverse grid the position you have been told to be in. (i will send a photo of everyone starting positions to the group chat)
  • In the case of a reverse grid, try to get into your starting position while warming up, so by the time everyone makes it to the formation point of the lap they are already where they need to be
  • On the warm up lap make sure to give enough space to the car in front just in case they want to warm up their brakes.
  • Make sure that you get into your grid spot where i have mentioned in the track notes below.
  • No weaving or braking after the corner/s mentioned in the track notes below.
Rolling Starts

  • Starts are double file
  • The leader is in control of when the start happens but he can not go until all cars have made it through the final corner
  • The leader must hold around 55mph as soon as he reaches the corner i mentioned in track notes below
  • As soon as the leader accelerates the rest of the grid can go
  • You must be directly behind the car in front (to stop cheating) until the leader or the car in front leaves.
Racing

  • If someone faster is behind you do be frightened, either defend your position or let them up the inside at an appropriate corner
  • Do not pull off the racing line and slam the brakes to let a car past, this can cause crashes.
  • No using the "RESET" button if you crash of go off the track, however if your car is stuck then feel free.
  • Do everything in your power not to make contact with anyone, as this can ruin races on this game.

:gtpflag:Rnd 2 of the GT3 series tonight :gtpflag:

Sorry ive been a bit busy today so I haven't got the old pep talk out sooner :). Rnd 2 will be a series of 2 races, one with reverse grid order. So i will see everyone soon!!!

Great race, again! I had some issues with the Merc that can maybe get ironed out by Silverstone, but I'm not very hopeful. Congrats to @mexxifrieboy for his first podium! Great job by all.

Hey wankas. There's a poll posted at the top of the page. Vote and let your voice be heard! Or stay quiet and suck down the results like warm tapioca from the bosom of a skippy.

Great practice and casual night. Props to @mphile77 for helping me rein in that Merc.

Good to see some new, fast and clean faces for casual night. Hope to get back together with em with the standard crew.. when dinner isn't being served. :sly:

I did a couple test runs for the Tuesday rain portion of the race. I noticed my wheel didn't center itself after i Hit the x button? So i just went for it and continued on, my result was the tire glitch where all my tires ran super hot for no reason? I got pissed and reset the whole ps4, wheel centered after i hit x button. Tire glitch gone? So if this has anything to do with one another I dont know? But if your wheel dont respond to the centering after x button you may want to reboot! Ive also noticed my wheel has been calibrating fast , it used to have a pause after each turn? Anyone else having these problems?

Mine was the opposite, mine always calibrated fast but since a few weeks back it occasionally does the slow one.
