Didn't even attempt to push the limits of the X version on the Nurburgring. I just coasted throughout the entire run and got bronze.

I also did an online race with this car in a Tomahawk lobby at Route X, and everyone was lagging everywhere.

Blame the lag on the better graphical quality that appears on many VGT cars. Put plenty of them together and the PS3 will struggle to keep up... It's a fact, proven by other VGT cars such as the Chaparral 2X.

And may I add, good luck to the 12-year olds that get their hands on the Tomahawk GTS-R or the X. Even if they have the money, they won't have the skills to tame cars like those two, I can tell you that much.

Good tip, that helps on straights when you want an extra speed boost. Just be careful with one thing though; you will lose some ability to steer the car, so don't go and press R1 in the middle of a corner lest you want to go off-road...

Just looked at the options. R1 is the right paddle to shift up so that's a no go. R2 (The top red button on the right) is the nitro button, which is perplexing because I pressed that button who knows how many times and it didn't do a damn thing.

Every time I'm about to get gold I keep slipping into the grass in one of the few last turns Fastest invalid time was a 4:50. I'm pretty sure I restarted this thing about 30+ times

EDIT: After 100 attempts I finally was able to achieve Gold in 4:55

Car has some serious brakes. I think it stops even faster than it accelerates. I love how the moveable aero pieces point in the direction you steer! The "low drag" feature is slick too. Closing all the holes off and even retracting the rear wing!

My reaction to this event: HOLY FREAKING CRAP. This has to be one of the hardest things I've ever done in any game, ever. After well over 100 attempts, I was finally able to pull in a tidy 4:20.196. I know there are at least 30-40 seconds still out there, but screw it, I'm content with it!

Really? It's a lot harder for me to drive than I'd like. It's too nimble and reactive for my taste. I'd like it if it was a bit stabler like the Red Bulls.
